Punto Evo My new Punto Evo Sporting

Introduction

Hello!

I have recently taken delivery of my new Punto Evo Sporting and here's a few pics taken a few days after delivery. It does need a quick wash and polish i know but will try an post more pics when it's nice and shiny again!

I know the pictures are not taken in the best of places but i will attempt to take some more and post them when the car is out of the way (and i remember to take my camera!).

I hadn't seen the red before i bought it and took a risk but it's not as bad as i thought and i quite like it (I wanted Progressive black but i've had a black car before and can't bear the scratches again!!).

The exact spec is a Flamenco red 1.4 16v (135) turbo sporting, Leather Pack, Chrome Mirrors, Style Pack (Red brake callipers, Subwoofer, Tinted rear windows), Side rubbing strips with Punto logo, Climate Control and Rear Parking Sensors.
Great looking car mate.

I never thought I'd like the flamenco red but it looks really nice on your sporting, especially with the darker alloys.

You enjoying the subwoofer? I massively enjoy mine, and even my mate who has a grande said the sound system seems alot better, especially with the sub.

The red calipers look really nice aswell. They seem to play off the flamenco red quite well. I wish that was a part of the sport pack for the GP :(

Cheers Mate! Ive not really played with the radio etc to use the subwoofer to its advantage because ive not had my USB plugged in just yet so just only had the radio on but i have noticed its a lot better than my old Grande with just the radio on! I did notice the difference straight away when i test drove the GP when i was considering buying one.

I nearly went for the GP myself but with the extras i wanted etc it was more financially viable to go for the sporting and just have the additional odd extra on it. Im really impressed with the alloys as i never noticed in the brochure that they were brushed steel. :)

Stunning! Love them so much in this colour. I would prefer black mirrors though?

The photo's i've taken don't do the mirrors any justice i think! I seen the chrome mirrors on a white GP and thought they looked great and so took a risk against the red. I thought Fiat only did black and white chequered mirrors as well as the chrome as an extra until i went in to Fiat this morning to pick up some mudflaps and pinched a brochure and noticed they did black! I'm happy with the chrome but they do get full of c**p!

Looks really good I love the wheels, not my taste in colour, but if you couldn't stand the scratches on black, fair enough!

There was a couple of colours i narrowed down to but i noticed on Fiat's website that some of the colours are not available on the sporting model which i couldn't understand hence the Flamenco Red (plus i got the metallic paint for the price of a solid!). thanks for your comments :)
