Everyone says that, but i've done my homework thanks, this one comes in highly rated, and has everything i want. It was rated higher than a £1500 Cannon DSLR in a certain review :)
There's a reason every pro either shoots Nikon or Canon ;) Nikon and Canon lenses are leagues in front of the rest, think of it like the difference in speed between a 1.2 and an Abarth.

Exactly, you chose one, i chose the other, different floats for different boats. Please respect my judgement. Up until now, i've been using a cheap point and press digi and the results are, well, see for yourself. This is going to be leagues ahead of what i'm used to.

Your pictures are OK, buy a Nikon or a Canon and they'll be even better.

Look forward to the forth coming pics mate :) As you say already very good and can only get better

Just been having a little play, what a fantastic piece of kit! Very advanced settings, not what I'm used to with point and press. Need to do a bit of homework, and try and think back to when i did photography in Collage! Chuffed to bits though, can't wait to get out there and do some pics! :slayer:

So, been out playing with my new camera! What an awesome piece of kit, a million percent better than my little compact. I will probably still use the little Kodak, been really impressed with the results. Every photo you've ever seen from me has been taken with the Kodak, so credit where it's due and all that!

But the G2 is awesome, the flip out touchscreen makes setting a photo up easy and fun. The HD movie recording is top quality, really looking forward to doing a few mini movies too!

Here are a few pics i did, obviously still learning about the camera and it's going to be a long road learning all the settings, but given how many photos i take, i should get the hang of it soon enough!

New tyres give her that "just rallied" look! Hoping to clean/clay and polish her tomorrow (y)

Spent 4.5 hours doing mine with the AG stuff yesterday. Pressure wash, wash, rinse, dry, Clay, Polish (AG SRP) then wheels, tyres, black trim etc. Looks Amazing, pics don't really do her justice but hey. The car has never been so clean, the clay transformed the look and feel of the paint. Better than new i'd say! :)

Made a REAL difference (y) Got two of the Autoglym Car Cleaning Wash Kits when they were BOGOF is AutoGlym what youve used?

Yes, it was the AG Clay kit. Top quality stuff, a tad expensive unless you get it on offer, but considering you probably only need to clay a car once, maybe twice a year, it's more than worth it! :)

The paintwork feels like slik. Shame it's raining outside now, car is getting wet :(

Get some Gtechnics G1 for your windscreen :) then take off your wiper blades (y)

Autoglyms good stuff :) I love SRP. :D

if you want to take it to the next level then try detailing  as I know you love your car so much you might like it. :D

This is detailing? I did every part of the car, including the wheel arch liners! But i can never be bothered to do the inside, not been done for months...

Foxy likes posing in front of the Abarth! ;D

Another thing, with the quick detailer i got as a "clay lube" it's very easy to spray on and buff off with the MF cloth you get with it. Handy if you've just been for a little drive and there's a bit of dirt built up, the spray and wipe restores that just waxed look (and feel) without the risk of scratching! (y)

Possibly not the best idea, I'm a fan of RainX, but I wouldn't take my wipers off!!!!

I've never used rainX. The shampoo i use says it "Adds wax" which is usually utter B/S, but this stuff seems to work really well (it is turtle wax after all) but the beading from the windows is very good. And as said above, gave it a quick wipe over with the Quick Detailer, made them even more shiny and water repellent :)

I find RainX utterly crap on my 500 tbh. I've used it on my 504, 406, the Subaru and my dad has used it on a few cars and it was fine with them but for some reason it just causes wiper judder on the 500.......... I've got some new wipers ready to go on when winter arrives properly so I might try it with new wipers but I reckon the result will be the same.
