I just don't know about it all tbh.... Love the 500 to pieces. I'm unsure what trade in the 500 would get, and I note the Abarth has crept up in price. Sat in 22k's worth of audi in the local dealer and preferred the 500. But would I be (more) happy with an Abarth than my current one?

Well let me tell you, when i had a normal 1.4 500 as a courtesy car for a month when mine was being fixed, i can't tell you how unhappy i was, really was a dreadful car, then i got the Abarth back and it took me a long time to get over just how different a car it is, the looks, the feel, the performance and way it drives. I struggled to find any similarity, it was that different! Not the same car by a long shot.

In gloucestershire, so I think either Cardiff or plymouth. I've done some sums though and with going back to Uni next year it's not really sensible for me. However, the rumoured coupe next year might change that

Yes it's my house, and thanks for the kind comments I too like the panoramic pics, need to experiment more with them though

first of all, i love the car


secondly, this may seem a bit unrelated, but bear with me...
my mu m has had the same car since 2001. she loves it to bits, but we all think its time for a new one.
shes looked at a few different cars (from dodge rams to nissan skylines) and stuck by her trusty orange ford probe.
however, the other day i showed her some of the pictures you have taken (because i want to get into photography) and she told me she really liked the car.
luckily we are about 15 minutes from the nearest fiat / abarth dealer. so the other day, we drove down and she took one for a test drive.
she was so happy with it that her car is now for sale (in the classified section ) and she is deciding what options to get on her shiny new abarth.

so i would like to say thank you for all your hard work convincing my mum to buy a decent car

Wow thanks! They say pictures are worth 1000 words! I should be on commission or something. Let me know what spec she decides on. It's an exciting little car for sure. Tell her the car will transform at 8000 miles and will feel 100% faster too Thanks for the feedback.

red stripes / mirrors
red leather interior
blue + me nav
auto dipping rear mirror
dual zone climate control

im trying to convince her to go essesse, but its too expensive

Sounds good to me, but the climate isn't duel zone, only single (doesn't matter on such a small car anyway!) and the SAT NAV is pretty poor from what i've heard. Blue and Me works well and is standard. Red leather is awesome too, very Italian! Electrochromic RVM works well too. Overall a nice spec (best wheels imo!) and that funk white colour is more suited to a lady. SS kit is not worth the money in my opinion and has been criticized no end by the press, even by Abarth themselves!

Oh and ignore the poor line i take in the bends, 90% of the time i was glancing at the suction mount on the door to make sure my camera was still there! Slight paranoia methinks

Did a few in the forest tonight Thing is, see where i parked? Well it was kind of moss covering gravel, as i went to pull away, the A500 buried itself again! I had to bail her out once again by building a tree bark road for her to get traction! Silly me

Anyway, hope you like the pics, high contrast always works well with forest photo's!
