Grande Punto My Black Tjet

Introduction

My Black Tjet Project

Thought id show how my little tjet has progressed over the last 2years :)
(bare with me ill be editing this post for a while as i get used to it lol)

I did pretty much nothing to the tjet for a year,

Firstly im not much into ICE installs, so in the audio front i only added a pre-amped subwoofer in the back, 10inch fusion tube type, the reason because it came with a remote and its suprisingly powerfull and being that it has a hard shell the boot is still very useable!

Next i got a Red GSR induction, not any power gains but the sound is worth it ;)

Soon after my custom cat-back exhaust from Torque Exhausts in enfield, again power gains wernt noticeable, i asked for a 2 and 1/4 inch bore straight threw pipe and sound wise i wanted the rally pops and crackles and a nice burble on idle and they provided (y) finished with a twin 3inch tips.

i havent no, the boost sensors are really needed but if you can theyre a good idea, as the stock sensors really limit the boost pressure, 'benpunto' on here changed them and saw good boost pressure results on the standard actuator, just in my book for the £230 they cost its not worth it!

I also changed the sensors and it really does make a huge difference

To my opinion the boost sensors only measure the pressure and link them to the ECU.The ECU then knows what pressure your having and maneges some parameters. The boost sensors doesn't chang the boost level.
If the SS package is mounted on the Abarth they change the sensors, but you can still drive with the original sensors because they are working till plusminus 1.55bar,pressure that the turbo on the SS never reaches....

Seeing this car being sold actually makes me want to cry :( But its for the best :p

Makes it even worse that I can't afford it... Would be such a great buy.

lol dont cry aslong as it goes to another good owner tis okay,

get a loan...do it :p

Tempting, but for the price id perfer to get a Cooper S :(

Go to a mazda Maindealer if you can, see if they'll take it in part exchange for a Rx8... It's your best bet, cars just aren't selling privately atm.

its a rough time yeah but its a beautiful machine the trouble is fishing out joy riders/scammers to real budget serious buyers (n)

Yeah :( I still think your best off going to trade it in for the RX8 if you can. That way your getting rid of it and getting the car you want.

Or you could simply put the car back to stock and try and sell it from there.

I'll have your exhaust then ha ha

i already own the rx8 have done for a couple weeks now and its not best to change over against a rx8 i got ridculous offers like 4500 so i thought private sale is far better i mean at 7495 thats half what it was 2years ago seems pretty reasonable for an 180bhp car to me,

i got a pre 55 plate model so the tax is 220 rather than 400 something also got my insurance 400cheaper than the punto and with exactly the same 26k mileage too full dealership history lots of extras etc. :D

now just gota sell the punto as thatll add to either my mortgage deposit or furniture and decorating matierals :slayer:

im starting to get used to having two cars :p the punto is unbeatable around town its so manooverable and the torque is really usefull but the rx8 for special occasions and long journeys :slayer: haha

GSR induction kit and Hubcentric spacers are gone, who wants the tjet turbo... :)
