Introduction

Hi folks, it's about time ah got an MM thread of my own for my wee silver Cinq Sporting. Registered in June 98 on an R plate. 5 previous owners when ah picked it up in October 08. The car has run brilliantly since ah got it an it came with a bit of history too (which can be rare these days)

4years MOT Certificates and receipts for,
Sept 07 - New Cambelt, Spark Plugs, Aux. Drive belt, Engine/Gear box Oil - £276.13 FIAT Carlisle
Sept 07 - New Cooling Fan - £106.46 FIAT Carlisle
June 08 - New Centre Silencer & Backbox - £159.22 Hi-Q Carlisle

Pictures taken pre-MOT (Sept 09) Lowering springs are fitted, although it turned out the rear two were snapped.

Here's how the car has looked up till now, standard rear springs

14" Abarth Speedline 5 Spoke alloys, need to sort out new tyres & spacers once suspension has settled

Av measured the height of all four corners and will post them up with some pictures of the suspension kit on.

No performance mods needed yet, nippy enough for me, even rocking on down the motorway. Especially through the Pennines M6 J38 Tebay > J36 Kendal :slayer:

I thought it was about time I added some more picture's. Not done much to it lately, fixed the front washer motor that's bin faulty since October :rolleyes: 15min job, should have done it earlier. Found a few roads about Carlisle that need taken with care, the feeling of cobbles coming through the floor isn't the best :(

Still not had chance to polish it yet, but looks pretty good after a good wash with Megs Gold Class shampoo.

I've got some black vinyl for the B-pillar, FiatForum and Fiat-Scotland sticker to add next.

just got myself a house in aspatria so ill be about more often up there so will keep a eye out for ya fella. where did you get the b-pillar stickers from?
 
aye not moving in till may all being well so ill be in the area terrorising your roads soon enough! haha. need to get a carlisle meet going some time, must be a few in the area. seen alot of mk1 puntos and stilos.
 
Am not much into the cruise scene, but was down the local BK the other weekend with bad_boy_cinq in his red cinq an his bro in the blue cinq an ya wanted to see the looks we got having the three of them all parked up, was priceless!

Matt an his bro James are out in Wigton so abit closer to you when ya move in.
 
aye just been chattin to em on msn. will meet you down this elusive bk some time, as i didnt know you had one haha. unless its near halfrauds???
 
get the hormann rear bumper from classifides, they really set them off a treat, hels turbo looks sweet with that exhaust and bumper.

I wouldnt pay £95 for it tho, more like £50 at the very max, i got the full wide arch kit for £100(altho its abit tatty)

Am not so taken on the Hormann kit tbh, too curvy for the wee box lol. Ad plans for a custom rear bumper if I could get the part ah wanted but it won't match in with this exhaust so that plans binned now.
 
thought fook it today so put some fablon on. dont know if i like it yet? it looks better in certain angles. this is the worst angle i think

what you reckon? ive done it as a trial to see if i like it. if i do when i get the car sprayed it will get painted black... still deciding on the rear bumper if i want to do that too.
 
that's sweet as fk!! It's what ad do (y) an the bar below the numberplate. It still amazes me why your's sits so much lower on the rear than mine, an fook can it accelerate :eek:

cinq booked in for service and exhaust fitted 24th ready for St. Andrews :slayer:
