looks nice but why are the sideskirts held on with gaffer tape

cause when i took the pics the skirts wr just been put on and they being hold with screws and silicone thats why

few more cheap suggestions:
tint rear lights + side repeaters, remove side strips, debadge.

skirts are already on just didnt put the abarth badges on which imo it looks better ....... skirts got them of ebay will post a link if i can find them again if you want

no such a great fan of tinted rear lights :S but will consider debadge and tint the side repeaters tkx for suggestion

and about the lowering ............. ( a newbie question maybe ) but standards factory spring can be lowered or do i have to buy new ones ?

buy yourself a set of 50mm lowering springs, i have spax.

black mk2 ftw i like what you have done....looks nice. if i were you if look at de badging it it looks 10 times better

does your insurance know about that....they can be funny with things like that you know, look for any reason to say that they dont have to pay out. my old man had a turbo badge on an old car when it was a turbo and the insurance void when he put in a claim.

Im guessing you mean "when it wasnt a turbo". Thats pretty unlucky, although it would be pretty obvious that its aftermarket as theyd know the engine wasnt turbo.

well its just a sticker can always take it off

yeh it was a non turbo. thats the point really i dont see why put a badge on a car to state that its something that really its not :S

Regarding insurance, in malta its not that stricked, the only thing that the insurance company tells you is that unless as you dont claim for your mods if any accident occurs youre free to do what you want (Obviously excludin engine modifications!!!)
