Mk2b rear lights here, well only one of them actually, passenger side, the other one had a crack in it so sent it back.

Will fit once I have drivers side back.

I know you all seen it before but I'm excited, looks sweeet



Loads of time over the summer as finished college now, so soon to be done is:

- Rust treatment and prevention, mainly just on the underbody and back of brakes
- also not sure what they are called but these things definitely look like they need replacing:

Note the rust in the second picture

- Respray drivers side door panel and the one behind it (quarter panel?)
- Colour code wing mirrors and door handles
- Colour code bumpers, or buy new bumpers
- Alloys and tyres

btw the hook things i think your mentioning in the pics are you exhaust mounting points/hooks well i call them that lol

Yeah I had made a name for them along those lines lol.

They look mankey though, it all looks pretty mankey under the car and I don't like it :S I think it might be the cause of my creaking when I pull away as well.

Starting sanding down the first door handle today to colour code it.

mate cover the door with bin liners not newspaper, cos i used newspaperon one side and got primer all over it t cut off and couple of washers now same as before...but save the hassle and use loads of newspaper puls bin liner

Probs a good idea to use something thicker, will have a scout round, not painting til tomorrow.

I don't want to have to take the handles off when I don't really need to, just cover up and paint should be fine. When I do the wing mirrors, those I'll need to take off.

Just done the second handle and wet sanded them both. Will paint tomorrow morning.

Mk2b rear lights all fitted now, other one turned up this morning.

I'm very happy with them.







Door handles all finished now as well, will post pics of the finished results later on.

imo you could remove the black vinyl between the windows,imho i think it looks alot better and as your going with the cc'd theme it would blend in more

Good shout, but I think I prefer them on there for the time being, at least until I see what it looks like when I've done the wing mirrors and bumpers.

No the sound system, I had written that but it was edited out by an admin.

I'll post it up in classifieds properly in a bit.

Colour coded the wing mirrors, well just the one so far, gonna start on the other one today.
