Punto (Mk1) Marmite Punto 2010

Introduction

Well some of you may remember my car from a while back when i first posted it here https://www.fiatforum.com/members-motors/132685-my-maramite-car-love-hate-work-progress.html & here https://www.fiatforum.com/members-motors/186423-updated-pics-my-marmite-car.html .

Well now i have had everything apart from the Roof & bonnet resprayed with every single dint taken out, A new front bumper, New tinted side lights & rear lights, Arches rolled & a set of 17" alloys.

Pics as follows and await your comments: -
I think them same people still won't like it tbh, me included but at least you done it properly. The amount of times you hear on here from someone with a basic standard car that say, 'i got this and i'm gonna do x and y to it' and then either disappear never to be heard of again or then proceed to add a load of naff crap they bought in halfords all over their car, you simply wouldn't believe. I don't particularly like your car but can appreciate you had your vision and you went for it and have ended up with a nicely finished car (on the outside at least atm, no interior pics so assume you not finished that yet) You obviously like it which is the important thing..

PS: in my head silver mesh falls into this tacky category, sorry, it just looks cheap and unfinshed IMO, its not the fact you can see it that makes it good to me, its merely to protect whats behind. So to me it being black makes it more invisable and like a hole in the bumper which at the end of the day is what it is. My only excecption would be a FMIC.

Nah interiors done but the pics are on the other thread hears some anyway changed the steering wheel tho

problem with having black mesh as i found with my last bumper is that you could not tell there was any wesh in it hense why i opted for silver this time.

thank fook you have common sense mate you CAN NOT!!! see black mesh on a black car or just on most bumpers because its dark where you put the mesh it does NOT!! stand out thats why you use silver mesh, it looks like you dnt have mesh if you use black mesh so you may aswel not bother using it!!

Everyone tells me to use black mesh on my black punto but i tryed it and it just looks like a big black hole in the bumper with silver mesh you can seeeeeeee!!!! it thats the point(y)

At least someone knows what im goin on about lol:D

Brin thats exactly the point i am trying to make but as with the rest of the car peoples opinions are different but i like it thats all that matters to me.

Same with me mate i like the way mine is and everyone says to me change the mesh and lexus lights but i like it like that its my own personal choice and taste innit(y)

Just a matter of opinion. I like black you like silver, for completely opposite reasons, and that is just fine, we can't all be the same now, that would be boring ;).

PS, i do have a black car and i have some black mesh for it too ;) if i wanted people to see the mesh on your punto i think i would opt to paint it yellow to match the car. Its not so much i dislike the mesh more it looks out of place with all the yellow and black - perhaps you could photoshop it or get someone too, my computer with photshop on died
