Why so cheap? is that in your name? Everyone says mine cheap for what i have but sometimes it where you live and where its kept overnight and so on, have you got 8valve then?

im on my own insurance and parents being on it didnt make a difference whatsoever

only benifit for me is that i live in a village its parked on a drive over night and during the day its in a secure carpark

your insurnce is very cheap for all your mods

yeah i got 8v

BTW dont tell insurance i havnt if i crash i will roll it away and take everything off back to standard lol:devil:

:nono: you do relise that one of the reasons insurance is so expensive is because you get people that dont have it and crash or its void because there car doesnt match the policy

Same mine is parked on drive overnight and secure carpark in the day not sure why mine is cheap but that was the first quote that company gave my parents so they cant give a different quote i dont think:confused:

Just got a quote in parents name with me 1 year no claims £1200 with no mods though:bang:

Its your car anyway if you think it looks good then keep it like that, but i wonder what it would look like black?

I tryed putting black mesh against the bumper at the shop before i bought the silver one and it just looks like a black buper cant even tell anything is there, just looks like a solid black bumper with no room for air intake to the radiator:( but i really like the silver:D

BTW can you post some pics of your plasma dials please.

Cheers

Nice looking Sporting mate, subtle mods work well :yum:

Ah I remember what it was like trying to insure modded cars at 17/18, I paided more to insure my standard 1.2 8v mk2b Punto when I was 19 than I did to insure my slightly modded 2.0 20v Bravo HGT when I was 20 lol.

***Rant Warning***

I would always advise you declair mods, it's not worth the risk not to. You might be able to get away with a few cosmetic changes such as CC'd handles, mirrors, bumpers, etc but when you start messing with the brakes or suspension they need to know about it.

Brin, how would you roll the car away after an accident if the wheels are jammed or the suspension caves in??? Just remember, your insurance doesn't just cover you, it covers other road users, fixed objects (street lamps, signposts, etc) and people. If you seriously hurt someone in an accident and your insurance is void due to undeclaired mods then you'll be paying for it in compensation for the rest of your life :(

***Rant Over***

Can't wait to see what this looks like with the planned mods dude, should be sweet :D
