Helow,

So here is my ride, so far i'we managed to upload only photos of stock one, this is how it looked at the begining:

I had before Punto mk2a 1.2 8V and this was quite a change, i have hgt now for more than one year and i am very satisfied.
Its fast, it corners great for a stock car and its good looking too.

I like it!

Love the car mate specially the black lights ;) I duno if I should do mines too, might not look too good on my black color car lol.

Do you have a guide on how you did the lights? (no photo's needed).
I'm especially interested in how you painted over the chrome part (did you etch it, prime it...etc) and if you used matt or gloss black.
By painting the frame completely black, did the lights become less effective?

Why buy from caraudiosecuurity for £44 plus shipping, when you can buy directly from FK Automotive in Germany for €29.92 including shipping. I did that (was delivered yesterday) - perfect fit. Looks identical to the original Fiat one, but without the badge.
Completely changes that car's look (IMHO for the better).

The grille in the photo, doesn't appear to be the same as those sold by FK. Be interesting to know who the supplier was.

- i used dremel for cutting
- i cutted the plastic glass as close to the edge where its glue
- than i've take out the chrome part, cleaned it and took head resistant black mat spray (200°C) and sprayed it
- i've let the chrome part to dry for a day
- then put all together, glued with silicone for glueing car windows

I hope it helps ;)

two small questions
- are the lights less effective than before painting the chrome black?
- Do you have a specific brand name for the silicone?

i wasn't saying buy from there i was just giving an example because he asked how to do it

I dont se the diference now when its painted..
Silicone: DINITROL (i think) for car glass - fast drying, but there is 100% something similar from 3M (even better) and other like silka, neostik (dont know which brands are in your country)


About the mask - it is NOT the same as in picture, its different structure, i am searching the same as on the black punto up there :)

Hey, great Punto. What kind of sticker did u use for roof and how did u apply it? Also how much the sticker costed? Would like to do that to my silver HGT :)

Hi eXtreme,that's a very nice car, I like the black roof and probably the next mod on our car will be that ( I just must convince my girlfriend how good that looks,and your pics will be very helpfull (y) ), I just can't decide what to do,paint that or just stick the vinyl :confused:
If you buy a debadged front grill,you could sell me HGT grill!? ;) :)

Could you post some closer photo to see if vinyl is smooth as near as paint?
