I had before Punto mk2a 1.2 8V and this was quite a change, i have hgt now for more than one year and i am very satisfied.
Its fast, it corners great for a stock car and its good looking too.

I like it!

Re: Punto HGT mk2b 1.8 16V

Some time ago you mentioned that lighter wheel will improve power.

They might look better, depending on your taste, but they wont improve power or acceleration. Correction - the reduced overall weight might take a micro-second of the 1/4 mile but not enough to notice. The downside is that light wheels can get bent more easily on rough roads. Warped wheels really mess up the handling. Its not only after-market alloys - Ask the Alfaista how easily Alfa 156 ring spokes can warp.

The advantage of light wheels is to reduce the unsprung suspension weight. That's the weight that is outside the suspension spring and damper. Ideally you need alloy suspension parts and performance shock to have any useful effect.

Bikes benefit most from light wheels, because the wheel and tyre are a larger %age of the vehicle weight.

car looks awesome love the HGT

and now im gonna be annoying and ask a ton of questions

1. was the roof very hard to do?
2. the second set of pictures the background looks beautiful in most of them wondering where it was?
3. surely that sub box isnt big enough to produce a decent sound, still looks really well done though

Tnx!

1. i have experience with applying "sun films" so for me it wans't so hard.. but i did it 2 times :)
2. i don't know which photos u mean, most of them are from ljubljana, some old factory, water station ect :)
3. sub box is aprox 15-20L of space, sub is 10'' big and that is the best for this mbquart sub, its not an earthquake but it can shake quite a lot.. its on amplifier "Steg 120.2 - 400w rms" which makes this sub a litle beast :D
And btw, this "music setup" that i have in car its SQ setup (sound quality) and the purpose its not that it makes an earthquake :D
