i cant wait for my car to come back out the bodyshop!!

i crashed my car back in october down a country lane in the rain because punto wiper linkage had broken so i couldnt see...
so i've sent it off to the body shop... its been there for 1 month now and only 2 more weeks till i get it back!!! well its been in the body shop i brought myself a cheap fiesta mk4 1.4 for a runaround well its in the bodyshop but sadly the starter motor on it went last night so now im ****ed

It's an 8v though isn't it? Would you consider dropping the 1.6 16v in at one point? Or are you having it all show and no go?

yeah only an 8v but the exhaust has made it a SMALL amount quicker, naa no 1.6 16v for me i cant even insure a 1.2 8v with this many modifications! LOL, but if i cud i would easy! so yeah i guess its all show no go mate.

yup its been two weeks and still havent got it back im afraid
the body shop have been closed due to the very bad weather, cant get to the garage as its all snowed in! im so pissed off, but asoon as they are accessible again, ill go down see wat hes got left to do.. hopefully he'll b all finished and i can have it back.. fingers crossed!

Interesting project.. to bad that everywhere are snowing as *ell

did they give you another date then? or did they just give the usual ...we'l ring you lol?

i went down there yesterday becus once agen.. it snowed! so havent been able to get down there but yesterday i did, so spoke 2 him and my car is currently in the spray booth, i made sum little changes aswel wen i went down there, also getting the number plate recess sprayed gloss black which looks smart , the new date is any day from now till 1st of feb!

i dont want to rush him becus he'll do a crap job, hes one of the number one sprayers in the uk, so ill let him do his business x

the plans sound good, im looking foward to some pics of this car

I wouldn't count on it. My mates was in the body shop waiting for 1.5 months to be done!
