I'm a full member of the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists, google them!). Because I took the test, I became an 'advanced driver' which allows me to use their insurance policy... Which apparently should give me a massive discount.. but we'll see what happens!

Halfords sale, £20

Yet to find out if they fit ok tho.. They dont look too deep but we'll find out when I get round to fitting them! I shall report!

Naaaah, hit the sales didnt I? Those lowering springs were also a bargain at the same price as the speakers

Speaking of, They got fitted today, and are HIGHLY recommended!

Of course, they're in the speaker grilles so you cant see them

muahaha!

Also, took the car for a wash today... Couldnt be bothered to do it myself so Arc did it (only drive through one worth using imo) and took a quick snap

Tomorrow: Detango side repeaters and test fit HIDs

Why bother waiting to renew your insurance, you not seriously going to put this down as a modified car are you?

Speakers are Pioneer TS-G1702i and before the sale were 49.99 from Halfords apparently... I'd definately say get some if you can!

The springs arent on yet, which is why its looking high lol

I did detango the repeaters today, and got some new valve caps..But didnt get time to test the HIDs

hmm... im not to keen on side repeaters - just looks like a bulb is sticking out the side of the car now - should tint them with tinted rear lights

when you getting the springs and HId's fitted?

Im not a fan of tinted lights.. I cant see it happening Im afraid!

Probably March, but Im tempted to ring the robbing ba- insureres even... And find out what it'd cost me to fit them now....

Don't be a prat. You ARE modifying the car so it would be classed as modified.. no matter what you think (probably lambo doors, bad boy bonnet lol) - it is classed as modified

Leave him be, we had a word over PM and he didnt mean his first post to sound as it did.. He just meant is it really worth declaring anything... Then realised the springs/HIDs would need declaring so it all got sorted

Okay, thought I'd make a lil text only update here!

Just 5 mins ago bought this:

So that'll be painted and fitted within a few weeks!

Springs will be fitted soooon!!!! Cant wait, should make those alloys look a lil less lost! I'm considering new shocks too.. Can anyone confirm wether Sporting shocks are shorter than basic puntos?

This week: Im painting my wing mirrors, but not CCing

Come payday I think Ill look for a CC front bumper.. We'll see how much I get!

Ermmm.... Pioneer HU has been put in, which is lovely, red illumination which really goes with the standard dash lights...

And I cant remember if I mentioned it, but its got Sporting clocks in there too! Just need to get the milage sorted on them! Ill get pics up this week too as soon as things have been done!

OH! And there's something new on the tailgate too!
