Punto (Mk2/2b) Out with the old, in with the new (my punto mk2a progress thread).

Introduction

unfortunatly on fri 13th of all days i crashed my car :(
in the wet.
i wasnt speeding but the back end slid out as i was leavin a corner(bend in the road).
tryed controling it but it started snakin.managed to avoid all the oncoming traffick.but hit a parked car with the side of mine wich caterpulted me into the curb witch ripped the tire off the rim and that spun me into a 360 spin wich i managed to controle as the back end was lifting up i stopped it from roling onto the roof.im well gutted
i realy am devistated as id just got it to look how i wanted it.
but it could have been a lot worse. i could have hit the oncoming cars or roled it but i manged to avoid both with quick thinking.
i was unhurt. just realy shook up. (n)

not been on here for ages. do like a good little catch up on here though.

anyways the saxo at the moment is undergoing an engine conversion. started it 2 weeks ago but some tool sold me a dodgy loom and ecu and now im having to do a full engine loom and interior loom job, so after the interior is stripped out and looms in place im only going to replace what is necessary and keep the weight down a fair bit. with the conversion i also bought a 4-2-1 manifold. so now it has a full exhaust system set up :) so knowing saxos with there well known over fueling im bound to be popping a couple of flames if i try :slayer:

think iv done a massive improvement from when i got it. also had a few problems along the way (off road due to mot failure for just over 3 months. headgasket going and gearbox/clutch knackard-hence the vtr engine now going in).
 
oh yeah just a little side note...... i do have times where i miss my punto :( which i can only imagine has now been scrapped or chaved up to the max (n)
do enjoy my saxo tho, great driving car (y)
