Introduction

unfortunatly on fri 13th of all days i crashed my car :(
in the wet.
i wasnt speeding but the back end slid out as i was leavin a corner(bend in the road).
tryed controling it but it started snakin.managed to avoid all the oncoming traffick.but hit a parked car with the side of mine wich caterpulted me into the curb witch ripped the tire off the rim and that spun me into a 360 spin wich i managed to controle as the back end was lifting up i stopped it from roling onto the roof.im well gutted
i realy am devistated as id just got it to look how i wanted it.
but it could have been a lot worse. i could have hit the oncoming cars or roled it but i manged to avoid both with quick thinking.
i was unhurt. just realy shook up. (n)

yesterday i got one of them dent pullers from wait for it.... the range, £3 lol just to give it a try. and when i had a spair 2mins i gave it a quick go on the big dint on the wing. and so far so good. so today going to try get em all out fully. also will be yet again sticking my side skirts back on......

lol what you sticky them on with??? hahaha they come off all time lol

i use tigerseal but tbh tigerseal aint really that strong i could probly rip mine off with one hand if i tryed lol its not some holy super **** that is harder than me hahaha(y)

and yeh cheap dent pullers are great mate i got mine from halford for cheap banged all dents out:D

well first time i used normal clear silicone and a bit of nomore nails ultra bond stuff and they stuck realy well. up untill few weeks back. so used tiger seal and that hasnt lasted at all. now iv got some super strong silicone i got from a builders site lol (not robbed) and its a redish pink so any smudging wont look a mess lol. but got 2 tubes so now they having a full tube of silicone each lol rather than a quater/ half each lol.

theres this saxo that comes by me and hes really really low and its so funny watching him go over the speed humps.his side skirts come off all the time:D but he had some sort of clip and he just shoves them back on

couple of pics. window one is oldish. also pics of fogs installed on bumper (yes i know grass needed cutting lol) will get some more pics when side skirts etc are sorted lol. the second daylight pic (with the fogs installed) if you look just to the right of the left headlight you can see a bit of the dint on the bonnet which was a glass bottle.but lucky no paint scratch or chip.

Hey, where did u get ur rear lights from as ive put a deposit down on a 2001 punto and getting it wensday i cannot wait to get it! but checks take the P**s but im getting smokey side indicators off ebay and smokey lense headlights off there too, but cant seem to find some nice rear lights if you could give me the link of the website or where u got them from would much apprechiate it! :) btw nice punto!!!

alrite mate,

how did you install them bottom fog lamps?? are they a flush fit and where you get them from i was goin to do same when i had my bumper done but was in a bit of a rush to get it back lol

BTW you took your dash out didnt you...could you please PM me a step by step of how to remove my dash as i want to spray mine aswel:D cheers bud(y)

i baught the spray of ebay. bout £7 and spray myself. its easy to do. but if you after buying them ready sprayed keep a look out on here and on ebay

halfords for £40 with wires and switch. i cut the holes in my bumper myself with a jigsaw and just slowly opend them up till they fit in nice and tight. then tiger seald arround the edges inside and out. was a ball ake realy as when i fit my bumper back on the car one of them popped back out and was a mission to put back in as a beam on the car was pushing it out so had to take the braket off the light itself and there was enough clearence. wiring diagram was ****e and had to work it out myself. there wired up to my lighter soket and im using the switch provided.

yeah whole lot and was a bitch lol. basicly take center console off. vents etc. then front pillers then steering wheel and steering colum then dash basicly lol. you will need a haynes manual realy pal as it is realy a mess about lol.

just baught me some abarth headlight covers off ebay for £17 inc postage :D

should look quite well.

oh any tips on how these go on? am i better putting tiger seal or silicone or something on them so they stick on solid or do they just clip on?

all iv got for sale is a set of alloys which need spacers and arch opening if they to go on a punto. its the ones on the orange 5door you can see at the start of the thread.

theres nothing for sale off this red one :D

mate im sure they just clip on,im msure you dont need tiger seal or silicon. :slayer:

yeah have done. just thort about doing it so no-one robs them. but they wont come off without the bonnet open anyways :) they look good. will post pics later :D

jsut took a quick pic whilst i stuck on one of the side skirts again. pic is of the font. with abarth light covers on. this pic realy shows the dint from the bottle on the bonnet and can also make out the dint on the right wing what the dick head kicked.
