Hi everyone, I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself (and my car :) )
Here's a pic of my Mk2.5 going in for it's PDI:

I love my car, it's just the little problems that destroy what could be a great motor.

hello :)

PDI?

my brother has a car just like that one!

Pre delivery inspection??

I like the colour - is that a solid colour?? As for the car, well as top gear say the punto is, 'sub zero'! I do kinda like the sporting models from the previous mark though, maybe the 02-03 models...?!

When I was up buying my Stilo last week, i noticed the dealer had a few puntos, i nearly ended up with an 03 in the pale sky blue, as it was flippin lovely, and the interor was funky. But when I saw the Stilo, i had to have it instead, ahhh, the fickle mind I have.

very nice motor you got there mate (y)

When the mk 2.5 has the sports bumpers on it like on the HGT and active sport it looks such a better car :D Nice colour as well. I dont think you'll have many problems with it, I had a mk1 punto and that was good as gold :)

Thanks for the kind words people. The only problems I've got with the car at the moment are, the brakes are crap (Handbrake doesn't adjust, and the front pads make a hell of a grinding noise when braking at low speed) The wipers make a clicking noise at a low setting. And the parcel shelf doesn't lock into place, so it rattles all the time....Oh the wonders of owning an Italian car!

EDIT: The colour is Murano Blue, it is indeed a solid colour. Something a bit different to sliver.....

I don't think there's much difference between the two colours mate. I've parked my motor next to another Fiat decked out in Sprint Blue, and I couldn't see the difference....

Well thats what I thought, but I've never seen the two together and I've been told Murano is slightly darker.

But, if I buy another Fiat, it'll be murano ;)

Just make sure that the car is covered well in the paint. I had to have my front bumper, and my LHS door resprayed!

I'm glad everyone likes my car. Now if I could just get some help with my brake problems......See the Punto > Technical section for my thread, any help is most welcome.

Lovely car mate! (y)

Love the colour i wish i had gone for that colour now but I couldnt resist the broom yellow as it cost more but i got it for free!?! :slayer:

This is my car when its just been cleaned, oh and some sideskirts and 17"'s on it :D

Dazza, how much were your side skirts? I would love a set for my Punto. Lovely car by the way. Funny you saying about the colour, I wish I'd got a Broom yellow one!
I've just put the pic of your motor on my desktop, just lovely.....

WolfracePunto, how long did it take for your brakes to stop making the "grinding" noise? I've done about 4500 miles so far. I hope it stops, it drives me mad!
