I take it they would have to be colour coded as well? And would having them fitted bugger the warranty?

Dazza, how much were your side skirts? I would love a set for my Punto. Lovely car by the way. Funny you saying about the colour, I wish I'd got a Broom yellow one!
I've just put the pic of your motor on my desktop, just lovely.....

WolfracePunto, how long did it take for your brakes to stop making the "grinding" noise? I've done about 4500 miles so far. I hope it stops, it drives me mad!
Specs78 Don't be dissapointed with your choice of colour mate..Murano is a lovely colour and once you get some skirts on it and maybe some bigger alloys there's no reason why your car wont look just as good as Dazza's..

Thanks for the kind words mate. If you would like to put some money into my "modding fund" that would make me feel a lot better about my car.......
EDIT: Does anyone know how much it would cost to get those side skirts sprayed and fitted on my Punto? (Or do they come pre-painted?)

they come primed ready to paint to the colour you want. Not to sure how much it'll cost you should ask someone like wolfrace as he had his done.
(y) it'll look even better with the skirts on it. When i put a set onto my stilo it makes such a difference :D

Thanks again Wolfrace. Any idea if the Side Skirts being fitted would effect my warranty?

Funny, I was told after I had my alarm fitted to my Punto (By a top car security company) That my dealership wouldn't cover my central locking and immobilser, due to the fact that everything in that area was "changed" I get the feeling even Fiat don't know how their warranties work.....

What a load of bull****
If you get the skirts they'll probably turn around and say the glue on the skirts might cause some corrosion!!!! lol

Mate that blue colour is gorgeous on a punto! (y)

I got my sides skirts bought, sprayed and fitted for £300 at my local mod shop and I also got the wheels through them as well, they cost me just over £400!

Puntos look nice in whatever colour anyway!

Just the power side of my car is lacking thats all but i will get my big flash car a little bit later! :D (might be a stilo, u never no!)

Thanks for the kind words people. The only problems I've got with the car at the moment are, the brakes are crap (Handbrake doesn't adjust, and the front pads make a hell of a grinding noise when braking at low speed) The wipers make a clicking noise at a low setting. And the parcel shelf doesn't lock into place, so it rattles all the time....Oh the wonders of owning an Italian car!

EDIT: The colour is Murano Blue, it is indeed a solid colour. Something a bit different to sliver.....

Nice car.....I have the same in Broom Yellow and funnily enough I have had a few minor problems too - including the rattling parcel shelf!!! All sorted now....

How did you managed to get your parcel shelf sorted? Mine looks like it could be caused by the clip not locking the parcel shelf into place?

I was told a small plastic bit was missing....possibly a clip? Not entirely sure what part it was.
