dead easy you part with £15500 at an abarth dealer and get them with it. Other than that you have to wait for someone to esseesse up then put their wheels on ebay and enter a bidding war. Talking of which my abarth turbo may well end up on there soon.were could i get me self them 17 inch alloys and whats the price tag?

Well the Abarth engine has an intercooler and for that you need the different bumper, it'll need a different gearbox AND you'd be an idiot to drive around with an Abarth on the standard hatchback suspension so you'd be better off just getting an AbarthWow, that is really nice. I love the subtlety, I'm not a big fan of all the abarth stickers myself, but, I just like cars that look calm, if I could, I'd have the Essesse engine in my 1.2 Lounge, that'd be my ideal car. (Lowered though, and with the rear spoiler too, then, sorted
Really nice car, I love it
Oh! And that chrome gearstick is wonderful! Very Ford Mustang I really love that, it's so cool, if I could make my Lounge/Abarth frankenstein's monster, it'd have to have that too
A little like the leather seats. When you first get in it's flipping cold!!!!The chrome gear knob feels a lot better than the leather one but, I tell ya, I'm paying for it now it's getting chilly outside. May soon have to sport a Jackson-esque one glove look.
Not a big fan of the Abarth stripes myself. I quite like them on the white though, but I was hell bent on an all black fellow.
as opposed to that abarth non-turbo?
I would say it's pretty light, if it weighs a ton and has 135 to 161 BHP standard, then that's pretty good going if you ask me. If use BHP per litre as a measurement, then it has (at least) 24 more HP per litre than a 7.0 litre 505 BHP Corvette! And to me, it feels pretty quick (although I'm still surprised by how much quicker a car feels sitting in the passenger seat with someone else driving) There is a small lag but then you feel it pull hard as the Turbo kicks in. And there's no need to rev it that high either as max torque is achieved at relatively low RPM. The SS doesn't necessarily feel faster either. Mine felt much quicker with around 7k to 9k on the clock. I love driving it!What a stunner, the 500 Abarth is such a looker :yum:
What is the performance like in them, do they feel fast because they're small but like most new cars, by no means light?
One would assume the chap meant his standard turbo due to an Essesse upgrade.
Yes, lots of looks/comments. I can't think of anything else this side of a supercar that draws so much attention, it's unreal. True petrol heads recognize it, you can often read "Abarth" on people's lips as you drive past! That's quite impressive, I don't know why I thought it had a kerb weight of more than 1200kg
I wouldn't mind test driving an Essesse back to back with an R56 Cooper S just to see what the shove of torque is like in the new age hot hatches.
I bet you guys get lots of looks and positive comments when out and about in these little beauties
