How did you tint your rear lights? I've heard of folk spraying the inside of the lense to tint it, but having stripped out my rear lights before I don't see how you could do this with the Stilo units.

Info appreciated? :)

Not that i'll be tinting my lights you understand, but I'm sure there are plenty of folk on here that will.

schweet ride

there pretty simple to do mate
buy a can of tint spray from motorfactors for about 10-15 remove lights clean em let em dry
give it 6-7 coats from about 15" away from the light from left to right spray evenly and the finish is brilliant you may want to laquer them afterwards to get the shiney finish

but on a side note im sure you have sprayed them legally as you are supposed to have your brake light showing nothing offending it worth checking it out mate

The reflectors built into the rear lights should be coloured
red or it's an mot failure and against lighting regs.
You may need to add additional symetrical reflectors
to pass the MOT.
Check MOT manual. Other than that Nice!

So as I said you could if not careful scratch off the painted/laquered surface quite easily.

Still they look good on the black car, but personally I feel the clear lenses of the Stilo are one of the best designs out there, look modern, futuristic and classy, unlike Lexarse lights.

Back on track though while trying to find the image i did notice your car (minimeaty) in a google image search under Stilo i think it was like 5 pages in or something like that. (y)

Looks nice mate i have never been a fan on white wheels tbh but as soon as i noticed the pic of it lowered it made me think otherwise.
I am also impressed that you have managed to keep under a grand on spend aswell. Good on ya dude :D need to take some pages out of your book!

cheers mate . it took me about 3 months to deside wether or nt to ge white alloys but in the end i thought fu*k it ! . and to be honist i have spend about £1300 on the car so fare the alloys were £550 with tyres , coilovers £455 , and then all theother little thing and the sound system add up to about £350 proberbly more . but i think it was money well spent . just abou to buy a schumi bumper aswell what you think mate?

Yeah i am also after a schumi front bumper. I went to Fiat in Stockport the yesterday to get a price with the skirts as well. Parts was closed though 12:00 part timers! :p I think just the front is like £400 or something silly, painted mind. I believe one is for sale on here somewhere for £150 though?

I am also after the merkur rear bumber after i noticed this...
