it may be slow progress but it will happen
so you didnt know anything about the wheels and bought them off a chap who also didnt know anything about them

Post 21 and it begins.......

i meant to measure them before i took them away but forgot the formula. anyhow they are ET40 the Et of my steels is ET43 ie theyre fine plus they sit level with the edge of my arch so are fine.

yes i should have measured them before i bought them but i didnt and thats my fault and i accept that.

Still will be plenty of space :p on mine you can just about get your fingers between tyre and arch and the rear has a good bit of camber as standard aswell.

my arch gap is insulting tbf. has using 205/40r17s made much difference for you?

tbh it's not all that bad, the badges are a nice touch, looks like you took your time with them to do them properly. sidestripes aren't to my tastes though lol.

the badges are crap lol even i know that. which is why ive got another set to do despite having spent nearly £75 in total on the purple ones i have fitted.

Rolf, if you switch to 205/40's, your car will sit slightly lower off the ground, but the arch gap will be even more offensive, so dont bother with that size unless your going with sportlines or coilies

Lol so how come you keep telling people to paint their badges and offering guides 24/7. lol

i aint switching to them lol ive already got 205/40s on but will be having sportlines as soon as.

Made the arch gap a bit bigger but nothing major.

When you paint these you can heat them up and split them. They will look much better that way.

ah cool.

thats what im doing. dont even need to heat them up though at least witht he grill badge can just pop it with a screw driver.

simples cause was sitting round with my old badges not long after i painted them and just ripped it apart and thought why didnt i do that in the first place. so reckon if i do that it will look miles better.

linea grill's all well and good when you have got the finance's to get one :)

the shark fin looks abit too high from that angle,(if that makes sense)

nah i just dont like the linea grill after seeing one in the flesh. aint paying 200 notes for a piece of plastic. plus these have bloody stiff clips aint gonna get either out again in a rush lol.

sharkfin is getting binned decided i dont like it.
