Punto (Mk1) My Mk1 Punto

Introduction

Hey all, Well i'm a fiat owner again, got a nice cheapy since i couldn't afford my insurance on the mondy, paying just under £600 for me and GF on this and i have lots of cash left over from the sale of my bike and car :D

Has just under 4 month MOT and 8 months tax, was thinking it only had a couple of each before i got there, pleasant surprise!

It's an SX60 so it has the fogs, electric windows and stuff (y) oh and CD player!

in the last 6 months it's had a clutch, head gasket, exhaust, coil and an oil change and brakes so it should last a while (i hope)

going to give it a good old clean up and tinker on with it, well chuffed with it, drives like my old punto (mk2b) and for the price i couldn't help myself

EDIT - It was £150
Looked good when I saw it yesterday (y)

You get the speakers an that put in and they still good? Not been in a car since the 85 died.

Random facts thats the 4th MK1 that shelf has been in and the 3rd those 6x9s have been in.

didn't notice your post mate  yeah they're great, haven't been on much TBH 'cos my HU is playing up though

Well after wanting a JTD for a while i was going to either scrap/sell this.

i have now decided to keep the punto as it still is a great car!

here's the job list (before the mot fail sheet lol)

Wiper motor
coil pack oil leak
drivers seat fixing, wont adjust.
handbrake needs slight adjustment
a £5 steely from the scrapyard with a good tyre as one is balder than Kojak.

hopefully get a lot of this sorted this week/weekend then take it for its MOT as it has less than a month now.
