I have a 53 plate one of these but its the 16v.

They are absolutley gorgeous cars to look at.

Love the alloys, I was considering getting the standard ones refurbed in black/anthracite with a yellow lip but wasn't sure, you have just made my mind up for me i think.

I'm also considering tinting the rear lights and getting yellow badges and centre caps. Then the outside of the car is nothing but yellow and black. Would look so cool.

Yay I finally know what colour car you have now! Been wanting to know for a while.
Yellow looks stunning in mk2s and mk2bs

Thanks and glad to help you make your mind up ;)

I was thinking about tinting the rear lights but i have never seen a punto like mine with it (Only those horrible lexus lights which are :yuck: IMO)
Also i have no idea how much that would cost :confused:

But thanks (y)

Nice car, needs lowered and some abarth skirts and will look the nuts except for crappy small calipers but you could always find some from a HGT which fit with small modifications aparantly.

(y)

Don't worry i am lowering and getting abarth side skirts...;)

I will have to find out some information on the issue of calipers from a HGT but if it is easy i will defiently see what i can do!

Thanks :D

Lol should have just asked:p

As for the colour, broom yellow is by far the best (it was even given a catagory of its own in the origional brochure called "Special Paint"), followed by sprint blue.

And why not tint the lights tris?

It's imola yellow iirc on the mk2bs not broom yellow.

Saw a yellow mk2b with tinted lights just the other day and it looked terrible! And it should be a crime to paint mk2b rear lights anyway, they look awesome standard! Front lights look good painted though, if you have the time to dremel them open and paint the none reflective bits!

Parkers Spec brochure says Broom Yellow was the only yellow available from launch on the punto 03-06? Must be Broom yellow as no other yellow was available until 04 and my car was registered in 03?
