Forgot to mention, its got a GSR Induction kit, Supersprint 4-2-1 manifold and its just been remapped today and i got 104.5 BHP.

I also have a spare set of sporting alloys to do anything i want with so if any1 has any ideas of colour and what i could do with them please let me know :)

(Sorry the pics are so small btw, not sure how to make them bigger)
Easily the best colour for a MK2
Looks great mate.
You got 104bhp out of a 1.2 16v? Sweet!
When you include the photos and that pop up box comes up where you select your images, at the top of that it will be on "thumbnail" Change that to original only and you've got your big images. Hope that helps

Thanks, yea i forgot to mention i have an exhaust made from Torque exhausts aswell, so ive got a full exhaust system, so that probably helped!
I think i might try lowering it next, finished with performance and go onto looks cheers again (y)

you made some really nice gains mate....you have a good drive home??

think i'll have to go ss system next! get some 50mm springs on.

Yea it was good thanks, yea go for it (y) and i think thats my next plan maybe coilovers, depends on price.

The mk2b lights really suit the colour too. I think if you de-stripped the bump strips and colour coded the wing mirrors it will looks even nicer?

sporting wheels in white :yum: I always wanted to do it to my sprint blue mk2!

then, colour code door handles and mirrors, and remove rub/bump strips from the side. perfecto!

Thanks, yea white sounds good, might get dirty quickly but you only live once i suppose :). When the weather gets nice i can hopefully CC the handles mirrors and bumper strips (y)

haha, i can never decide which colour of blue i like best, sometimes mine then i love the light metalic blue then say black alloys :yum: i still cant decide what colour :( i think white would look good, but thers blue and black on the car so maybe to many colours ?

I also like the Abarth bumpers but there impossible to get hold of and then it would look similar to munkel i think is name is, his car looks great (y)

Has anyone ever put black sporting alloys on the same colour car as mine ?

I like the idea of graphite :p, because its not too black but nicer than antracite i think, i like the look of the sprint blue clio sport 197 thats got graphite wheels and light smoke tinted windows looks good and not over the top :yum:

What do you think of lowering ? colies, just springs, springs and shocks ? whats the best option, cheers

for an instant, great looking drop on standard wheels you cant beat -50mm lowering springs. I think Spax is the brand most people favour, or Eibach. They will give you a bit stiffer handling, with less body roll.
For a lot better handling you want to get uprated shocks and camber adjustment bolts, or some coilovers. Eibach/koni dampers are good.
Coilovers allow for a much larger drop, but has no real advantage over a decent spring&damper setup. FKs are the ones most people opt for, since they are relatively cheap and improve the handling a fair bit, or have a very generous range of drop on the front, if thats what you are after.

thanks, i think springs would probably do me, its just my shocks are 9 years old so they might not last too long with a 50mm drop, i could always try it and then get some uprated shocks if/when the time comes, ive changed my shocks on my old 8v just to standard because they had worn out and its not too hard so that might be the best idea.

Sorry about all the questions!, but how have you gone on about insurance, because for now my car lucks quite standard but once i lower it spray the alloys and maybe tints i will be attracting unwanted attention, how have you got on ? cheers again :D
