Grande Punto My Grande Punto :D

Introduction

Hi all, got my 56 reg grande punto 3 weeks ago :)
Ive got a few plans for it, so far i've only tinted the tail lights, i think it looks good, and ive had plenty of positive feedback! :D
got some team dynamics 17's on order and should be on within a month!
Doing the car on a tight budget, but hopefully will look good!
let me know whaat you think! :D
Car is looking how i want mine to look for next summer! I have a blue 1.2 which came with the same wheels but 15's. Hated them but never had the money to buy the ones i wanted to wrapped them red. (i do wheel wrapping and detailing) and now really like them. would putting coilovers on with 15's and going as low as possible and still be a daily leave arch gap? do you scrap often?

cheers
Pete

Could you describe the wheel wrapping procedure for me? I've no idea how it works.

Yes its pritty much that video. Lay a sheet of vynal over the wheel. Seal down the outter lip first. Use a heat gun to melt and stretch the vynal so it wraps tight to the alloy. cut out the centres. done deal. its hard to start with but when you get the hang of it its fairly easy. all depending on the wheels of course. if you want a cheaper and easy way to "wrap" alloys pm me for details. i dont know what the deal is with saying products and company names on here. some dont allow it. but its pritty much a spray out of a rattle can which turns into a plastic. very easy to do and peals striaght off when you have had enough of that look.

Yes! That plasti dip is the spray i mentioned! I have used it before. Comes out as a matte colour though and the gloss spray isnt all that good, so if your loooking for a matte look then i would recommend you give it a go,

Yeah I could imagine it to be hard to get a good glossy finish but that's understandable. If I had a black/white car i'd love to just keep using it to change the colour of my wheels, blue for a while, then yellow, then green, then pink.. would be awesome. With my blue punto now though there wouldn't be any colour I could spray them with that to look fun/interesting

Uploaded a pic! Not a great qualily as its off a phone. But you get the idea. They actually look brighter in the pic then in person. Prefer them in person.

EDIT: Searh "red wheels"

Sorry but :yuck:

Colourfull wheels are the way forward, sig says it all :p

(cost £40 to have all four powdercoated)

Once again, true on a neutral colour like yours, not on mine :p Cheap powdercoating though! Is that mates rates or something?

Sorry but :yuck:
