Well, I got my camera the other week, but it has insisted on raining on every occassion available to me to wash the car since.

Until yesterday :D

As you can see, it is completely standard (apart from my unique reg :D ), it will remain so until I find a more 'understanding' insurer, first on my list of priorities after seeing these pics is some lowering springs!

Don't laugh at my exhaust either! I've spent much time ensuring it doesn't go rusty at least!

How small do 16's look on it eh?

But, for all these criticsms, I still think its the best looking new car in its class :D

Very nice! It makes a change to see a Stilo in that colour, theyre quite rare around me.

With the exhaust, I think Fiat should have hidden it, or put a proper visable tip on it.......

Like the 'personalised' number plate :D

Cheers

Yeah, I always thought the Stilo had a hidden 'zorst, bit surprised when I got it!

I love the colour, wasn't too sure when I ordered it, but when it was delivered to my house, it went past and I was like "wow, that stands out". You see plenty of Sprint Punto's, but not many Stilo's.

I always wanted a plate, but the one I want is £800, so I took the cheap option ;)

Re: Cheers

Nice James, I do agree with the exhaust, what were they thinking?!

I think your "despite what others say it's still the nicest..." - I reckon you could be refering to me, don't get me wrong, it's a darn nice looking car. However, whenever I point anything out against the Stilo it's based on the recurring problems that Fiat mucked up on, such as the tyre wear problem, nothing else, oh except how somehow, they couldn't manage to sell it for more than 60-70% of market value compared to othr marques.

Don't get me wrong, the Stilo i do like and your's looks very nice in that colour.

Paul...

Not saying its the best, yeah it does have its problem, most of which have been ironed out prior to mine being built, so I haven't had the squeeky rear sub frame etc..

I have eaten one of my tyres, but, that is due to the garage who repaired it after it was bumped not setting up the tracking right.

I just reckon, that, yeah although other cars have better points, non of the stand out and look quite as nice as the 3door Stilo.

As for the cost, my mate recently bought a new Golf GT TDI, replacing his Mk4, nice car and all, BUT, for the price he could have had two of mine! Is it really that much better???

The depreciation is a pain though, but its not as bad as some (vauxhall Signum anyone  ), and I saved, hang on a mo....

28% off the list price, which means it cost the same as a super-mini, a mid spec one at that! And remember its the top spec bar the Abarth, so I think all in all its pretty good value really ;)

Arghhhhhhhhhhh................................

don't remind me James!

That's what mine looked like before I started playing!

You know they have the potential to look really nice and it's there for the taking and you do have the advantage of having a Stilo in the second best colour (after black) so no problems there.

So now, just open your wallet and start spending!

By the way, I would have liked to have seen you standing next to the car as we've not seen a picture of you on here since you joined, so you're just a faceless name, come on put one on and I don't mind if you wear a Princess Lea wig!

I like how clean the car looks in that blue colour. Unless youv'e never drove it before and its just brand newness that makes it look clean?

Dave

New? Not quite!

Cheers Dave, but no, not new anymore, it has about 15.5k on the clock ;)

I just but plenty of the old elbow grease into cleaning it :D

It is a good colour, that is a pleasure to polish (note I didn't polish it before these pics!), as it comes up so nice :)

Re: New? Not quite!

I'm just over the river from you, Throckley, I'll say it again, small world! But not as small as when I discovered Brickfoot and I work together :D

Cheers for the comments, Jasper, Liam. :D
