Surprised I've not seen you about! I live in Haslington so not far lol!

Adjustable height and better handling is pretty much it lol. Plenty of different kits out there, only went for the Eibach's cos my mate has a set on his Ibiza and recommended them lol.

Got ABP to...

Fit coilovers, new brake discs and pads.
Set ride height.
Wheel alignment.
Road test.

Cost me £300....:yuck:....swear to god the guy quoted £200 down the phone, then I rolled up ready to pay and he said that and assured me he had said £300. So that kinda spoiled the day, should of confirmed price before I left it with them

Seem to have done a pretty good job though, except I'm going back in the morning to have some grease put on the back of one of my pads which for some reason they missed (was squeeling last night :doh

Thats not a bad prices i suppose but when u think about it the work they did was all on the same part of the car so wudnt of taken long. Atleast ur happy with it. What drop u got it to then? Future mods? Need some inspiration haha.

Only had mine just over 4 months and it barely gets used too lol. I don't work at Tesco but pop up/get dragged there some nights for stuff.

The coilovers were rated at around -40mm on the rear (just shocks and springs so was fixed) and got ABP to match the front to them, I think they said there was about a 3mm difference between front and back. Not sure if the back has gone down the full 40mm though because the coilies fit all MK2's and I think the HGT is set slightly lower as standard.

Guessing 30-40mm on rear and maybe 50mm on the front.

Think I'm planning the same as you TBH! Would like a full Supersprint but try to get the backbox hidden behind the bumper, GSR maybe, and colour coded handles would be nice! Oh and colour change on the wheels maybe!

Don't really need to get a vid of the GSR up now lol, i'll just hang my head out my window and listen for it

Nice ride man, i was looking for one like these mk2 with the difference that i was looking for a 1.2 16v , before i got my GP, the mk2 is a beautiful model, and its greater in this colour, engine , and abarth kit!!!

theres now 3 on the forum, a few months ago i didnt even think they existed

i havent taken any pics myself, the car is about to change ever so slightly, just a few tweaks to be done and silly bits by the previous owner to be removed, these are the only photos i have at present but here it is

thanks , theres some silly stickers in the rear window that are going, there is (or was, it lasted 5 minutes when i bought the car) a 2.0 badge on the boot.... (why anyone would say an hgt is 2litre is beyond me), the number plates are going too for pressed ones.... few other little plans, but im keeping them subtle!

i'm not certain what wheels they are, they are standard fiat items though... possibly stilo?

smooth the sides and lower it ,,,,,,,job done

i love your car mate ,especially the kit on it,is that a standard abarth kit or a hgt kit??also did you put that carbon effect on the front lights or did that come standard??

it only cost me £200 mate from a body shop garage so i couldnt really complain with that price coz i got another quote for like £400

IT IS BLACK 200 quid is cheap as chips round here they always charging a fortune , how much wud u think for vinyl do u think it wud look more or less the same as painted cuz ive seen sum decent cars in full vinyl
