:D
Not that many plans for this one... tint rear 3 windows, spray font grill black, maybe vinyl on the front, and maybe some new wheels.
Will probably end up with a GSR kit and re-map aswell. :D
Had a bit of a detailing session today with Andy Monty...

took some pictures...

Started off with cleaning the wheels, product of choice today was Muc-Off. Before:

After:

These came up really well (as they should!), and then we proceeded to snow foam the car. Never done this before, but had a good laugh with it, and it does a good job, need one now!!

Such cool stuff!
Next, shampoo! Andy reccommended the Bilt Hamber stuff... and i applied it with a meg's lambswool mit:

We then dried it off with a couple of microfibres, and clayed the car. Bilt hamber soft clay was the weapon of choice, needs no lubricant, but works brilliantly!

We decided that it didnt need a polish, would simply have been overkill! Therefore we went straight to the wax stage. Collinite 915 was chosen over the bilt hamber stuff surprisingly

This stuff really is good, easy to apply and take off, and gave these results!

:eek:wow well done how much it all cost?

inspiring me to do some proper cleaning now(y)

car looks good, would get another coat of wax on it when you can though to give it an even wetter look :)

Yes it was discussed he's going to order some of his own ;)

Just a note the Auto clay does need a lube but its very cheap ........ tap water

How you finding the Headlamp bulbs Tris?

not had any rain yet to see how good the glass sealant is :(

In what relation Carl buying the stuff in the first place?

Pressure washer £250 ish (see how many people complain about some brands lasting just about a year) then consider the one i have is 8 years old)

foam lance (see members offers)

BH auto foam £14.30 for 5 liters (you need 200-300 ml to make a 1000ml of solution to put through the lance and i can do 2 cars with a litre

so for arguments sake 250ml for 2 cars work on 125ml per car 40 cars per bottle 35p per wash.....

BH car shampoo 350ml for £8.95 at 5ml per wash (1 tea spoon) 70 washes 13p per wash......

and collinite £20 ish and it lasts forever..........

bulbs are brilliant, cant believe they were only 4 quid!

Will be putting some more wax on next week when my tin comes:)

Been to Fiat today, got the front seatbelts sorted, rear wash wipe and drivers window switch... also ended up spending in the parts department... Got discount at least.

Ordered some sill plates, and the exhaust trim... which was in stock and they fitted for me:
