Re: My Panda 45 CL

Cheers Fellas, much appreciated.

I was offered it in February as spares for the 750L, but they're not compatible, but I still had to save it, as it would have been scrapped otherwise.

It had been stood 2 years and previous owner tried to MOT it, not surprising it failed. It's only done 30k miles, so I gave them 20 and I've done the following to get it as you see.

Welded a new section into rear of sill
New old stock pass door
Repaired the drivers door (I have a new one awaiting paint)
New O/S bonnet
New O/S grill
New brake cylinders/pipes/hoses/caliper overhaul
New radiator
Full service
New temperature sensors
New thermostat
New water pump
Full set of Pirelli P3000s
Replacement windscreen
Wheels blasted & resprayed
Full body respray including the grey polyester/3M coating
Also bumper refurb and respray
Completely undersealed it

This did all mean that the 126 got neglected, but that's now back on track.

Thanks again

Re: My Panda 45 CL

Wow what a cracking little car, just goes to show what can be done with an old Mk1.
I bought a black 45CL in '86 and did about 250,000 miles in it over the following ten years. I've had several other Pandas since then, I think I might have a buyer for my last one now.
Still, happy Pandering.
