Grande Punto 'Starjet' My GPS - Update 02/10/08 (PICTURE HEAVY!)

Introduction

Right then, well...I thought that I should now start a new Members Motors thread as this is the start of moving onto the next level. I've also had a big tidy up so no more lose wires everywhere!! (y)

Before I hadn't really done any 'proper' Mods as such and was holding back abit if i'm honest. but i've had a think and have decided that i'm going to go all out! So there's alot now in the pipeline! :D

Anyway - For those of you who don't know what she looked like origionally when I first picked her up on the 2nd August last year here are a few reminders!

looks good (y)

and cheers for the reg:D

specially as i know (or at least used to) sutton coldfield pretty well-ish

not at all:( :cry::ROFLMAO:

I do like that all black treatment of the grille/front bumper, especially with the
Audi-esque bright trim round it. But what the hell is that strange shaped red box. That will take up valuable space needed for folding chairs and a blanket. You can't have a decent picnic on the central reservation without folding chairs, a picnic hamper and a blanket. You youngsters don't know how to live.

Thanks! :D I think the surround sets off the all black quite well aswell...i'd like to do somethin different bt tbh i can't think of anything else that would look so good! :bang:

Ah yes well...unfortunately I don't have time for picnics by the reservation...however if I do then I can always fold the seats down :p

Following my previous comments, a tailor-made picnic hamper with a full set of bone china crockery plus sterling silver cutlery would fit in there a treat. By the way, where's the starting handle, not to mention the spare can of petrol, tow rope and jump leads? You can't expect to find these things after 8o'clock at night or on Sundays you know. What do you mean you can? Whatever next? Sunday opening for shops?

:ROFLMAO:

tbh sometimes I rekon she could do with a starting handle to get going!! :bang: I can barely afford to fill the tank so there's no way I could afford to carry 'spare petrol!!' Jump leads and a tow rope are under the carpet along with the spare wheel :p

Ok, so haven't updated this for a while...

...I have done a few more things but nothing that is finished enough to reveal!

But, here is a video (staring 'Starjet') that me and my friend made in our spare time. A while ago we'd started started making a mini movie which sorta ended up tailing off but we all want to start filming it again so here's a small teaser for you all :) You can really hear the GSR at the end as well...

Thats ace mate! :D

It was weird cos I was just viewing your thread and then 1 min later you posted that. Such a nice noise at the end take it its the GSR doing its thing. Oh I and hope you weren't speeding there ;)

That's a very cool vid mate and the car looks ace (y)

I remember there was a guy who posted a couple of similar vids on YouTube of his Civic Type R and I always thought they were really cool, found myself watching them time and time again :)

Here's the links:

Civic Type R Montage Part 1

Civic Type R Montage Part 2

Worth a watch.

Cant wait to see the proper update mate :D

Sound good mate :) I'm completely in the dark on this so can't wait to finally see.

As for mine, it's not mate. Eibachs are still sat in their box and the car's future with me is still up in the air

lol nor can I tbh! I've got an idea in my mind of how it's going to look but tbh I just have no idea if i'll pull it off or not. Will have to wait and see I guess!!!!
lol that's no good mate! Get it looooow :p you know you'll love it once you've done that...and get it mapped again...it'll be everything you ever want once you've done that! :slayer:

Sorry for taking your thread off topic mate.

...it'll be everything you ever want once you've done that! :slayer:

To be completely honest with you mate although the map was great and I'm sure it would handle pretty well lowered it would have to be converted to petrol with circa 180bhp, shed 300kg and miraculously develop a more involving and well setup steering/suspension system

I hate to say it but the RS Clio 182 is very appealing to me right now :yum:

.... and back to the topic at hand. I'm curious about this 'new' GSR :chin:
