You got any links to these 200mph coupes? Would be very interesting reading on specs/gearing etc.
What sort of power do they have to get them up near 200?

My goal isnt to build an outright top speed machine, more a very capable all rounder. I'd like to see a genuine 180mph, proven (VBOX or similar) but 170+ is a must. would be plenty. I'm sticking with 16inch wheels for the time being so I will be relatively limited.

its not the lightly modded coops putting those speeds down, it is the 500BHP+ mosters, i'll see if i can find the thread, i think Leighton (Flea) ran 186MPH at Ten of The Best this year.

Well I run into a problem with it, and the engine is coming out this week, suspected cracked ringland on cylinder 2, as its 90psi down on the rest of the cylinders.

Will probably be a while till its done now, as I wanted to get all the chassis work done before the engine had to come out, I'll keep you all posted with the damage as I get through it....

not many Turbo's on the road atall at the moment!
