Seicento '00 Seicento Sporting.

Introduction

OK, so I figured it was about time I did this so I could keep track of any modifications I've done to her.

Bought in April with just shy of 20k on the clock, I've only done about 1,500 miles since then - trying not to add too many miles on to it whereever possible by carsharing to work.

Mods:
Performance - Supersprint Tailbox, 4-2-1 manifold with decat, 40mm Tricker, ported and polished Uno inlet, custom induction kit.
Exterior - Carbon style number plates, FF Stickers in rear windows
Interior - Blue LED's behind speaker grilles
ICE - Tevion MP3/Bluetooth stereo, BOSS 4" 125wRMS speakers up front, BOSS 8" 15wRMS in custom rear door cards, 100wRMS BOSS Outlaw sub in boot.

erm flexi, i did have a bit lying about with a flexi in but no idea where it went, it was just chopped off though so would either need welding in or 2 clamped connectors, prob end up be cheaper just buying a new section to bolt on to be honest.

Doing that now, £33 with gaskets, not bad I guess :)

New flexi arrived today, me likey shinies :D Got the upper gasket, just waiting on the lower - hope all the nuts/bolts come off without too much struggle!

Out of interest, looking through the MOT history online yesterday the corrosion on the flexi section was noted as an advisory when I first picked up the vehicle in 2008 (but being a n00b back then I didn't really bother looking at the advisories), but wasn't noticed on any tests since then.
blu73 - Hopefully try and get through to yours at the weekend if that's cool? Working Saturday night though (19:30-07:30, ugh)... :(

its a mcritch chip that i acquired that i agreed to sell to Fraz ;)

My shed of bits is starting to look a bit thin on cinq stuff tbh Andy, don't think i have anything that will improve your car at all.. I have a cinq dash cluster surround thing, perhaps you might want that to paint same colour as whatever your plans were (i won't air your plan on open forum until you do ;))

Is that the big plastic thing that goes round the heater controls aswell? If so, you could drop it off at Chris's house or give it to him because I wanna get it trimmed but its a well complicated bit to do lol
Still havent been to u pull it for one yet

Well that went well :D

No actually I lie, as is the way with this car things conspire against me :(

The front section was in 2 pieces, it'd literally just torn at one end of the flexible part like a sleeve being pulled off a t-shirt! I managed to get 2 nuts off of the manifold studs no bother but - of course - the 3rd one sheared! And the 2 nuts/bolts that connect the rest of the front section to the cat are completely rusted such that I think I'll need to cut them off and having been up since 8am yesterday with only a couple of hours sleep, I really wasn't up for that right now  Oh and to top it off, the lambda is stuck solid into the section I did manage to get off the car, I've given it a good dose of GT85 so will maybe try that again shortly, other wise it'll be a new lambda too - joy!

CAT section is fine, as long as I can get the remnants of the old front pipe off of it OK. I bought a new front pipe, but having sheared a stud in the manifold I suppose I need a new manifold now, if you could have a looksee for that it'd be appreciated :) Unless jatkinson still has that 4-2-1 he was talking about and is willing to wait for the cash (depending how much he wants)?
RE: Lambdas, are they all pretty much the same? I notice the Sei's part number seems to cost around £50-90 but the Punto ones which look the same are only around £15!

Have to admit, when I first got my head under there I really didn't expect it to have torn itself into 2 pieces, how the hell it managed to pass the emissions I've got no idea! Though, if no exhaust gasses were actually going to the back of the car ... ;)

All sorted, The Hulk (aka blu73) was instrumental, after 15-20 mins of trying to free off the lambda he gets his mitts on it and within seconds it's moving! New manifold fitted (again, thanks to Blu for picking that up and bringing it through!) due to the sheared stud, so all working nicely again. A slight rattle but I think that's due to the mani>downpipe nuts not being 100% tight, couldn't get it high enough to get proper purchase on it with just a single jack. Need to get some new axle stands, or shallow extensions for my ramps so I can get the front end up nice and safely :)
