Punto (Mk1) My Mk1 Punto

Introduction

I've just managed to resurrect the laptop and on it were a few pictures from shortly after I bought the car, and spent a day with a bottle of T-Cut and very carefully removed as much of the creosote (that was covering most of the body) as possible:

Since these pictures there have been a few changes like the donation of some multis-poke looking wheel trims and an assortment of equipment being mounted around the drivers seat (phone holder, Cobra Camera detector) and a set of 6"x9" speakers on an MDF shelf with speaker cloth to cover them. I will post up more pic's as and when I take them (might get a few at the weekend if the weather is nice enough to clean the car).

All the other improvements are on hold till after my exams, just over a month then I can start properly :D

Comments welcome :)
The previous owner's neighbour covered it when spraying their fence looked alot like severe rust at first, there is still some on the glass and its taking ages to find it all :bang:

Plans for it at the minute are wait until my exams are finished then take it to my uncles place of work and strip the bumpers, dash and seats out and clean it all properly, then I want to get a new headunit in to replace the one thats in (not the original) and amp the 6x9s; may get a sub if i 'unfortunately' have to get a 4 channel amp ;).

There is no boot light at the minute, and i want to put some power adaptors into the dash for varying things (phone, satnav, camera detector) so I think I'l lay cables to the back at the same time and sort out some form of boot light (thinking red neon here, any thoughts...?).

Might try and squeeze some better speakers in the front.

Performance wise I haven't event started to consider until I get chance to speak to the insurers, but I am VERY tempted to try and get some multi-spoke alloys, the imitation caps seem to go really well with the car (even if they are a funny silver); I know they're hard to clean at times but I actually kinda enjoy cleaning this car!

Looks like bittern/kestral lane to me! Can see my mates caravan down the bottom end! The cheadle area is a hotspot for forumers at the moment!

Looking nice and clean anyway.
