finally managed to get my new car on Saturday.

had been looking at a few different options, an alfa GTV (Batty's V6 imparticular, but funds just wouldnt stretch to it ) or a twinny, or a 156 of some guise, or another Bravo.. this is my third one now, all 3 have been the same colour and modified in some way shape or form

for me it does everything i need, seats myself, missus and lil'un comfortably, reasonable boot space, looks nice and then theres the engine. not the quickest thing in the world, or the most powerful, but it does me rather nicely. oh, and it makes a rather nice noise too... 2.0 20v 5 cylinder with an induction kit, and a powerflow exhaust system (will be replaced by a Ragazzon soonish) oh and it was nice and easy on the wallet too. i know the last 2 of the 3 owners and know that shes been looked after, hence i did not mind the modifications as such, where as normally i would only hunt out a standard car

the cars for a few other mod's aswell, 17" alloys (not to my liking, but they have plenty of tread so will stick for a while until i find something less chav and also lighter!) lowered 55mm on FK suspension, Abarth factory option front bumper (pretty rare) stupid square No plate... and alfa 147 door handles (original bravo ones perish as they are coated in rubber)

few little changes to my liking in the pipe line as said, alloys, exhaust, and i will also be replacing the headlights with Marea polly elipticals for a much better light output, and also replacing the wing mirror base plates as they have corroded and i have a set in the shed painted gloss black.

a few pics

and with this one i was messing around with the sun position trying to get some nice effects, i think it works, but is maybe a tad to harsh..?

made a couple of changes, now got a normal front number plate, gloss base plates on, simple sounds for the mo and miss matched wheels after a blow out!

Haha!!

Let me be the first comment then.
I really like the tail lightz, the alloys are looking nice.. only thing I'm not all that keen on is the colour, it's just one of those dark blues that doesn't completely appeal to me but it still looks good.
The last picture with the sun, yes.. it is a rad strong lol nice job man!

Nice one Andy, glad to see you back in a HGT :D

What wheels are you going for?

As for exhaust, both the Raggazon and the Supersprint sound to die for on the 20v.... Good choice dude (y)

Ryan, going for the Ragazzon as i was very impressed with the quality of the one on my 1.2 firstly, secondly you cant get supersprints any more (plus they only do a 2quiet one) and thirdly i cant stand the poxy powerflow on mine atm... its not fitted v well and its poo

Si, cheers mate. as for wheels, i picked up a set of alfa speelines today that will be going on in about half an hour once i finish work, but long term probably a set of compmotives or similar, want a racey look no 1, and no 2 need something that will go over a bbk

Klemster, front no plate was changed within 2 weeks of owning it!

will get some update pics sorted soon, got my new wheels to go on soon (when i can get some longer wheel bolts) and then ill do some fresh ones to show how she is currently

Matt, glad to hera your happy with the gp, nice cars :) get to use my Mums elegaanza a bit, pretty damn good imo :)

Sami, thanks :) the handles are nice yes, but the icing on the cake is the Fiat Abarth front bumper (in the seriously rare HGT fitment)

see what the future holds, but track toy keepings getting into my head!

just need some alfa wheel bolts atm then can do some updated pics

And the new wheels are on! just need to clean the old girl and get some up to date pics done :)

only niggles to sort now, both rear calipers need a rebuild, manfold needs replacing desperately and hand break cables... other than that, all should be good bar a minor service
