Hi,
Here's a couple more pics of my cinq since I've modded it a bit. Recently put on sideskirts and just added the silver door handles.

Comments appreciated.

Looking very nice mate, where the sideskirts easy to fit and what make are they. I've just bought some Abarth replica ones from Fast fiat and I wondered if they were the same type as yours?

Pete - I sprayed them myself :D

DJ_Bucho - I got the side skirts from Fast Fiat too... I didn't fit them myself, got a garage to do them properly. I think they are pretty easy to fit, they fit perfectly, its just attaching them that I couldnt do :p

Should be getting by Horman bumper back from being sprayed tomorrow :D Just got to fit it. Hope it looks sweet with the Abarth skirts [}:)]

looks like a beautiful machine mate. love the door handles especially. Maybe you could give me a guide on how to do it at a later date if I decide to do that my self

How exactly do the sideskirts fit to the body of the car?

When I got my skirts there was some glue as well a loads of screws? Have you got any close up pictures of how they attatch? As I was going to spray my skirts myself as well and would like to know how they fix on.

Thanks very much

Brian

Not got any close ups, but they are just screwed and glued in underneath, it's pretty obvious if you actually hold the skirts up to the car, u can see where it should be screwed. Mine has been screwed in to the wheel arches aswell.

They were incredibly easy.... I just bought some brand new ones from Fiat cos the old ones are a bit scratches... Just sprayed the new ones, unscrewed the old ones (there is a screw on the inside edge at the back of the door. Just lifted out the handle and pulled off the white bit where its connected to the back. Then I removed the lock cylinder (you need the key in the lock, then there is a springy bit that unclips. Behind there is a bit of metal that u need to push in with a small screwdrive while pulling with the key at the same time). The cylinder then just slides straight into the new handle. And just refit to the door... Attach the white bit to the back, then slide the handle into the hole and screw back on.

:D:D

I think I might have a closer look at my skirts tomorrow then, and hold them against the car to see exactly where the screws need to go?

Does any of the screws have to be screwed into the top edge of the sill as there seems to be little resesses possibley for screws to screw into, but this would mean that you could see them when U opened the door. Any help on this subject would be very usefull.

Thanks very much

The garage that fitted my skirts put a screw into the sill.. But I don't think that it's really needed...
