NOPE lol, it was going from purple to red at the time.

So anyways, sending my airfilter back now and paid another fiver for an actual induction kit. So how you all suggest i fit it?
I aint got a clue when it comes to the engine side of cars.

Well i will get the BMC eventually, i would probly make you an offer but for now i can't afford it, gunna wait a while and then when i get my remap i will get them to fit my BMC aswell. Got told by Angel Tuning that the GSR aint half as good as the BMC closed direct cold air intakes.

they talk bolloks, to get your money, the gsr on my car ata test gave 4bhp and a lot more torque than the cda, and that is afer i spent all the money moving from the hot spot that they fitted it to.
wait i find you another link ;)

bloody hell, all seems very familiar. Angel tuning said to me that Red dot was pointless and doesn't work right. That a direct feed instead of a cone filter was the better option and that i would get 8hp gain on my car. So is this all lies? :(

ahh after reading that link you gave me i just don't know what to do, so is your BMC rubbish then? Who do i get my remap from? I thought angel tuning would be as good as any to do the job.

do a search on both you will see what most of us use now
https://www.fiatforum.com/search.php
also see the rolling road threads in events section, a whole load of members all go to red dot at same time on a sunday often and all get re maps and/or induction kits fitted.
its good day out as well as getting better results on the car.
you get a rolling road print out before and after, you can also go road test the car, and if your not happy it can all be un done and you dont pay. no one has not been happy after though :)
also you wont here them giving you bull about other companies, they do what they do and leave the bull to others, they dont need to do it, as their results speak for them selves :)

The BMC CDA isnt rubbish. it is just that Angel Tuning are a relativley new company with not much experiecne in the field of tuning so i have found out. GSR are the most trusted company that supply for fiats, to be honest i swear by them. I Had the old Seicento induction kit, made a hell of a difference compared to say for example my old K&N (which also isnt a crap filter in its own right). Its all about the positioning of the filter and also the length, diameter and airflow of the induction kit itself.

the GSR is a proven piece of equipment which has been extensivley designed taking on board all of the said features which increase the power at a set point pre determined by the staff at GSR to be the most practable for a fast road car.

Therefore just a BMC CDA bodged onto your engine with a random piece of ducting will not really increase performance beacuse the necessary research into designing this said 'performance upgrade' has not been undertaken.

If youw ere to purchase a GSR kit coupled with a BMC CDA filter i see no reason in being able to prove the BMC CDA's qouted power gains.

You need to do some research into induction kits etc, to truely understand the differences between porperly enginered equipment compared to Generic universal equipment which can be made to work on any car. The the web is full of the information you seek. different positions via tubing/ducting on an induction kit vary the point at which the peak power will arrive.

sorry for the rant, ive had a stressfull day and needed a way to unwind. (y)

lol, no problem matey. Well i just got a cheap induction kit by a company named Evosport only cost me £25 just trying to think of were to put it so its not going to scorching hot like my filter is at the minute. Really starting to notice a giant difference right now from 3rd gear onwards. Feels like i'm going backwards but at least it sounds a beast.

Does anyone have any pics of there induction kit installations?

New induction kit on whats everyone think? I just need to get rid of the original stock feed now, but didn't have time or skill to remove headlight.
