Pictures haven't come out that well because of the overcast weather and my crappy camera phone. :(

Comments and suggestions welcomed. (y)
i have abarth bumpers and side skirts:nerner::p

how much did it cost u to get the bonnet de badged?

I don't know how much it cost for just the bonnet, but I wanted a proper job doing so they resprayed the entire front end of the car so that the paint blends in for a perfect match.

They resprayed the bonnet, both front wings (they had some stone chips on them so I wanted them sprayed, didn't need to have them done really), slam panel, abarth front bumper and blended it in with the doors. (y) Is a top notch job, it looks exactly the same as the factory paint... you really can't tell that it's been resprayed.

the back is about half way down, so it doesnt look as low at the back as it could, although the wheels fill the arches perfectly.
the front is as low as i could get it without mucho scrapage- the wheels still scrape a small amount when pushing the car to the extreme limit.

have you got the camber and tracking set yet?

Is looking good (y), but i think it should go lower on the back , which size is that wheels ?

They are 17" wheels with 205/40/17 tyres. The back is set as low as the coilovers will go...

The back is only half way down on yours? Looks a bit lower than mine and mine is fully down... are you sure it's only half way down? As far as I know FK coilovers lower the back by upto 45mm and the front by upto 85mm.

And nah I haven't had the tracking & camber done yet, gonna get it done in 1-2 weeks when the suspension has settled. What did you get your camber set to?

mine did settle a bit :) yes, i checked the other day, i have still about 15mm of thread left to screw down, and i also checked against a standard punto, the rear is 35mm IIRC :)

i like the sloping down look though.... makes a difference from all the chavs with lowering springs, that look stupidly low at back, and barely any difference at the front :shakehead:

i set the camber to -1.0 degrees (or as close as possible to that) and the toe-in to 0.4 degrees (i think, thats what i wrote after it was done anyway)

i think the stock toe-in is 0.2? can't remember, but my settings were slightly more agressive than factory anyway :) reccomended.

EDIT: my tyres were half worn away within a week  because of Gates's monkeys. beware.

Had the tracking & camber setup today, attached is the printout that they gave me which shows the settings that they used. Steering wheel is no longer off centre and it grips much better in the corners. :slayer:

suspension geometry is entirely down to the driver preferences and road conditions.

with that toe-out, theoretically you will acheive better cornering, but worse straight-line stability, than if it was set to toe-in.

however, a combination of toe-out plus negative camber in theory means quickly worn tyres, because not only is the tyre leaning on the inside edge, but the inside edge is also the leading edge.

Going by the spec data though, the angles are so small that you (hopefully) wont see any increased wear :)

are those tolerances the ones that you specified yourself? cos they sure as owt aren't FIAT factory specs....

never mind though, for your £20 you got a nicely set up car with a data printout. For £30, all i got was some worn tyres :bang::bang:
