Thats a pity it was a very nice car that, bad luck saw you are looking for another one, although looking at the top crash photo at least we can all take heart in that another lexarse corsa has bitten the dust.

I don't think I should comment on what happened in too much detail (still unsettled etc.) but I'm definite that the blame rests solely with him.

I'm afraid it was! He blew over the limit but it took the police surgeon around 3 more hours to be allowed to take blood, hopefully he'll still come back over the limit.
In terms of parts, I no longer have the car (or know where it is), i'll try and find whichever breakers it goes to and post it up for people who want bits off it, i'm not sure what will be worth having though as when we returned to the car everything behind the dash seemed trashed.
I was very impressed with its safety (obviously in the hgt you get some extra airbag curtains), we were on a dual c/w doing around 60, no breaking time whatsoever as he came completely from the side, he claimed to be doing circa 50mph.

He needs banned for life as a minimum, anyone who even considers driving over the limit really hasnt got two brain cells to argue with.

On a plus side, glad your happy with the cars impact protection, looks to have faired well and your obviously not to shaken as your looking for another
