At the very minimum its a 2.5l Petrol or 2.5 Twintub diesel. The diesels are by far the better engines in the 7series should see the 3.5L twin tub diesel shift!. Either way go bloody carefull imagine what would happen if some numpty dented it . Which is quite likely tbh with it being a BMW.

Went out in a friends remapped 530d yesterday, they drive like a petrol I was very impressed, BMW seem to know what they are doing with diesels.

Tozzle go steady, especially after driving your 1.2, you would be surprised how easy it is to have the back end out when your not used to a rear wheel drive car.

Yes BMW diesels are far better than any of their petrols IMO (new M3 is the only exception 4.2 V8 high revving pwnage even though Audi beat them to it with the RS4 :worship: :p).

I like the noise of them too . They are far better on the Auto boxes tbh as the manuals are quite hard work to keep the engine on full power.

NICE

I take it he has owned all these cars at different times?
If you can handle a TVR I think a V8 beemer should be ok!

My garage is always pretty quick, but you have to stay on top of them and make sure they do all the bits you ask for.
