Its all good (y)

I like the idea of the vents.
are they functional and where can I get a set?

They just wont quote me with that sort of modification, they wont even allow me to upgrade my brakes. I could go with someone else but no one quotes anywhere near the price I'm paying. - Take the good with the bad eh.

Tom :)

Thats too bad, it's a bit silly on the brakes aswell, you are making the car safer and decreasing your chances of going into the back of someone etc.

They are not functional as the airbox draws it's air directly from the front of the vehicle.

Really like the calipers, side stripes, black grill section and the tints. but do not like the bonnet vents or the fact you plastered abarth all over it, it just isnt an abarth. Far too many badges and "Abarth" writing around the car IMO, just takes it a bit beyond the "tacky" line

All the styling without the badges i think 1 of the better cars on the site. Shame about the lowering though as that would look great

Tom, alot of effort has gone into that car there are certain aspects I like.

The only thing I will say is it looks very cluttered with no real theme, it seems like alot of the things are just stuck on for the sake of it, very badged up etc, too much going on for me.

But alot of the mods I really do like, I would have never thought of that red stitching the way you have done it for example, It's always good to do new things and stray away from the norm.

Just offering up what I think, your 17 its a nice motor, I just thought I would offer up my constructive comments as everyone seems to be just saying they like it rather than telling you what can be done to improve it.

I think individual taste changes as you get older, i'm only a few years older than you, but you will be surprised how much you grow out of stick on mods and into different things as you get older.

Thanks for all your comments fella's.

I've taken on board what you've being saying, and will be removing some of the written Abarth badges (keeping the genuine ones though :p).

I don't know whether to remove the vents or not, you really need to sit in a car directly infront of mine to see what I mean lol. They're not that bad - Also they helped me discover that the Special Exotica Red paint is actually Hammerite Smooth Red :D

Thanks again, Tom

Looks spot on Tom, liking what you've done to it. I have to agree with others about the bonnet vents tho, they just don't seem to work on the bonnet of the grande punto, best left for the escort cosworths and that.

Well done though, and I definately know your not finished yet.... I look forward to seeing your next mods!!!!

Good lad, its as if your trying to make it seem like something it isn't (an Abarth :p). I'm not much for 'replica' things. Other than the badges and vents it looks super, stripes look brilliant against the red. The main Abarth badges are ok (ones that replaced the Fiat logos), but the stickers look a little tacky (sorry :p).

I'll have to see about the vents, got a 'holiday' home in Weston Super Mare, you can come show me when im down next time. (y)

As said before tom, i really like your car but i do think the bonnet vents are out of place, they should be on some bad boi corsa or something, get rid of them and it'll look smart.

Looking good mate... the only thing i would lose is the white line at the front edge of the bonnet breaks up the smooth lines of the GP... plus i think it might help out on the bonnet vent situ.... as the white line attracts attention

your car mate, do it how you want it.... your the one paying for the car!
