Punto (Mk2/2b) My MK2 Punto

Introduction

Well i havn't been on here for a while so here are a few pics any comments welcome!

Going for the subtle look and kinda euro style in time, bonnet has been smoothed, rub strips taken off, handles and mirrors colour coded, angel eye headlights, mk2b rear lights, 16" alloys, lowered 90 on FK coilovers also for exterior mods. Lots of mods to come, Car is in body shop next week for boot smoothing and roof smoothing, along with the front bumper being smoothed.

Rear bumper will be after maket murker one which is smoothed and abarth skirts put on in next couple of months with doors smoothed also and filler cap relocated to the boot.

Keep an eye out for updates!

Got them off a guy on puntomk2.om, he sumhow gets hold of them and gave them for £50. Thanks mate. Like i say new back bumper, more smoothing, front bumper is in progress and deep dish alloys to come in next few months!

if you sell the standard rear bumper, how much you want?? i need colour coding, lol, or does anyone know where i can get standard bumpers from in steel grey???, sorry to hi-jack the thread there,

anyways i love that car, proper decked looks awsome, kinda look im aiming for in mine

Snowball - Smooth is going for the euro look so to speak, makes the car look clean, simple, subtle and not over the top, its 1 of the top things in the modifying scene lately.

Want to move the petrol cap to the boot to give the complete smooth look, may seem extreme but has been done before ;)

Earandir - Smoothing the roof was simple weld plate behind where the aerial had been, fibre glass and filler, rub down and paint. Don't have an aerial, never had a great reception in the 1st place.

Just a quick note, was in a front end smash the other day, will be getting redone tho ;) will be back in its former glory soon enough

hi with the Mk2b rear lights did you have to make any changes to the body work or was it a matter of unplugging the old ones and installing the new ones? i am asking because i contacted a chap at "parts4you.co.uk" and he told me they would not fit. please can someone clear this confusion up for me?

Mk2b lights are just a straight swap onto a mk2. Ive done it on mine, freshens the rear end up a treat!
