don't get 16s they cost a lot for tyres compared to 15s or 17s

igt 16" tsw's and tyres brand new by bridgestone or pirelli i pay 30 quid fitted per wheel

18, one years NCB, took out a 9 month policy with norwich union for a 2.0 omega, after 2-3 months swapped back to my old mk1, and a month later this car, and i got about £30 rebate, originally paid around £1000. to renew, it should be around £600-700, thats when im 19 and 2 years NCB.

so i cant tell you exactly.

best way to find out cost is to find a car on ebay that you like, and then phone up lots of companies for quotes on that car - online quotes are not as good as over-the-phone quotes, in my experience.

yer thats what ive been doing. funny thing is ive put a deposit donw on one now. same colour as yours lmao. best colour in my opinion. got a good qoute from endsleigh on my own. so think ill go with them. im nineteen soon anyway aswell and hit the 2 year drivin mark in a couple of months. so should drop throughout the year. got any other plans cept for the coil-overs matey?

erm... well ive just bought a very expensive black box (no further detail atm) so i wont be able to afford ANYTHING for a month at least.....

but: colourcoded mirrors, some ICE, are next things to do. :slayer:

oh yeah, the rear is debadged except from the "sporting" - no pics yet, tho

kwlio. im plannin on debadging mine as i did with my seicento which my bro is having off me. put the deposit down on the punto on monday. hopefully sort a part ex out on fridaya nd some little things i want adressed with the car. how many miles yours done mate?

well if i do get any problems, at least ive got a warranty on it. and im doin my C+G level 3 in college now so after the warranty i can do any work that needs doin. gunna colour code handles and mirrors 2. its just gota be done. lol.

its been over 2 weeks, still no sign of coilovers yet

sent email today, they called twice but i missed them cos i was in college all day....

anyway, feeling VERY poor now i am just waiting for stuff to arrive: coilovers, S/S backbox (yay!) and DtT's DTA system....(DTA probably will have nothing to do with this car, though) thats a lot of money blown in less than 2 weeks....

i cant wait for stuff to arrive

ah guttin mate. booking my car in for colour coding on friday just after i collect it. lmao. got a friend whos dad owns a very good body shopa nd img ettin ti done for cheapo cos theres a smashed up sprint blue HGT there at the mo. so it works out cheaper cos they dont ahve to get any more paint. good times.

hehe the 1st real mod

supersprint backbox on, it looks sooo much better in the flesh than in pictures!

and although i would usually say its the placebo affect, it really does make a difference to the top-end power - above 5500rpm was useless before, but tonight the car pulled cleanly all the way to the limiter.
it still needs more though, and i am going to fabricate a stainless mid-section, so that i can get a little more sound.
i have the paint for the mirrors, but i am going to wait a bit before doing them.
Coilovers still not arrived yet

That looks very very cool, Don't suppose you've got a video of it running so we could hear it? It'll look good lowered too. Pity fiat changed the cams on the mk2 sportings, the 16v used to pull to the limiter neway although it doesn't wake up before 3.5k

GSR can fix that . It pulls from 2000rpm's once being tuned :devil::slayer:
