Well, new to the forum and couldn't resist sticking some pics of my baby up...

1995 Fiat Coupe 16VT, not particularly modded as you can see, just a chip and uprated brakes...Had her 2 years and dare I say it still going strong!

Yup, thats the mighty nurburgring....been there a few times now in the coop on a roadtrip we do....it does surprisingly well against the exotica you see there!

And of course the badge of honour to prove it!

lovely looking coupe, though that close up of your nurburg sticker shows it really needs a good detailing! the paint works full of swirl marks!!

Yup, paintwork has certainly seen better days, along with the usual coupe 'stubble rash' from the motorway, but at a quoted 2 grand for a respray around here, i think it can wait!

Bucket of t-cut and a high speed polisher is alot cheaper

. No reason that once its done it stays like that as long as you wax it

Well if top gear can take a diesel transit van round I don't think they mind as long as you adhere to track disciplines you'll be fine.

nice car, go on detailing world and get one of the people on there round to sort the paintwork out, its only about £100 i think

Or you could read the forum and do it yourself for 50 and thats including buying an industrial polisher...

Thats why you take your time use a high speed but low pressure and read the brilliant tutorials on that forum. You'd need to be a numskull to 'burn' your paint:bang:

Thanks for all the replies, and cheers for the info re the paintwork, defo got to be done at some point. Now I just gotta scrape the pitiful post christmas cash together to see what I can afford!
