Eventually got the new amp and did a little carpentry at the weekend to get it all fitted in nicely. What do you think?

They're 10". The boxes were bought ages ago but I had the amp just screwed into the floor and the cd changer bolted on the back seat. The wires were clearly visible.

I made the centre box in about an hour to two hours and carpeted it in about 10 mins. Fitting it all back in took about 10 mins!

Ok, the 6x9's have to go! They are poo! Distortion city when any sort of bass comes within a one mile distance. They were cheap and no love lost.

Managed to get hold of a brand new set of JBL GTO935E's at lunchtime (impatient get that I am).

The bloke in the shop let me have a quick plug-in in my car and they sound ok without being in the parcel shelf.

I will give you all an update after the footy. Speakers will be fitted at half time
