Just tinted my rear lights

Any chance of some pics of them lit up? I'm planning on tinting my Punto's lights as well, but a bit worried about how much light can still come through.

he used less tint than i did on my cinq (mine are actually black) and mine light up fine, so his should be ok

jonnyboy have you seen the red punto evil is selling in cars for sale, he has tinted just the top.

I've seen Evil's car on PuntoForum. He's not actually tinted the lights; they're covered with perforated black vinyl. It does look good - I was thinking of doing the same but it costs about £30 as opposed to around a tenner for a can of spray

Anyone know where's cheapest for a tin of black light-tint spray?

i got mine for £11.99 Got loads left aswell.

Its beautiful..Makes me want to do mine.

May have to be done with the summer raft of modification!

I tried using the spray on window tint and it was useless (or i was just s**t).

Spray on Window tint? Never heard of that before..

i got it from my local car shop for a fiver.

the window spray is only for glass, at least the tin i read at local shop was it said on it only for glass do not use on plastic it was about £3.50, i saw same tins on ebay being sold as tinting spray with no mention of it not to be used on plastic[:0]

i got my tail light tinting spray from here http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/Products_Savage_Style_110.html I think it puts a layer of film over the plastic.

The window tint spray stuff from the car shop is crap, it just runs down the glass and makes a mess.

How many layers did you put on it, ive got the same spray (thanks ghost ) and i dont wanna make it too dark.

i put on three layers, but when the sun is out they still look quite red (not like in the pics)
make sure you spray it on evenly too. I might put on one more layer.

cool - i think tints look really well on a punto

I have a bling* bling* shiny blue thing

thats the same stuff i had, and dawns got [] lol [] did about 8 layers on mine though :I just kept going till they went black lol, everything still lights up though, even the reflectors

what is it like in the daytime though?

Anyone know how the law stands on tinting your rear lights? I want to do mine but don't fancy getting pulled for it.

Black '95 Cinquecento Sporting: K&N, Eon2's, Abarth style spoiler with brake light, Sony MD Head unit, Sony 6x9s, Kenwood 10cm & a stupidly loud 12" Pioneer Sub where spare wheel should be ;-)

there's mine,

reflectors reflect, all lights light up, even the reversing light lights up white somehow
