thanks guys.

will be getting rid of the 17's in the near future and putting the standard 15's back on, in black of course, as the car will handle better on them with 195/45 tyres. i'm more interested in performance now, rather than looks.
 
yes, a very nice clean looking punto! i see this car almost every week as i always see it driving about. looks better irl! (y)
 
now had a 200 cell race cat fitted. latest RR result is 120bhp and 120lb-ft, both at the wheels...

...oh and back on standard rims now

no, no. its 120 at the wheels. so around 145bhp at the flywheel.

its difficult to compare the 2 rr graphs as they use different values for transmission loss. red dot use high values, JNC used low ones...

I realised what i'd said after my post...

Wasn't it running more than 145bhp before? Or is that just my bad memory?
Felt quite quick last time you took me for a spin in it.

as i can't edit the original post, here's an up-to date spec.

CAR SPECIFICATIONS:

- Model : HGT

ENGINE MODIFICATIONS :

- Supersprint exhaust system
- 200cell sports/race cat, with changes in pipe diameter to alter gas speeds (8lb-ft gain over de-cat)
- Modified std manifold, pre-cats removed
- Lightened flywheel 5.23kg (std 8.29kg) 37% weight loss
- Custom oversized and uprated clutch 220mm (std 215mm)
- Custom gearbox using alfa internals and stronger selectors
- Modified airbox
- Throttle body coolant bypass
- Throttle body gauze removed
- Uprated GSR variator
- Skimmed head, 0.36mm removed (due to being badly warped)
- 122bhp and 120lb-ft at the wheels. about 145bhp at the flywheel (allowing 15% transmission losses)


STYLING MODIFICATIONS:

INTERIOR:

- None

EXTERNAL:

- Smoothed boot
- De-tango'd headlights
- HID conversion, 5000K
- White LED sidelights
- Side strips removed
- Rub strips in bumpers colour-coded
- Door handles colour-coded
- Cut down aerial

CHASSIS:

- Eibach Sportline springs
- Bilstein B4 (OEM+) dampers
- Eibach Camber correction bolts
- OMP front upper strut brace
- Std wheels
- Std brakes with red callipers
- Toyo T1-R tyres 195/45/15

ICE:

- Kenwood KDC-7021 headunit with i-pod conversion

FUTURE MODS:

- up-rated brakes
- got a full abarth kit, just needs painting and fitting
- got an alfa cloverleaf inlet manifold and TB, just needs fitting
- standalone engine management, Megasquirt II Extra
- convert to cable throttle, get rid of fly-by-wire
- turbo conversion

thanks. i've not done much, styling wise, just improved on what's there already. although i've got an abarth kit waiting for paint.

i suppose it's my version of how it should've left the factory, although it's not got a turbo yet ;) OEM+ ftw
