Punto (Mk1) oh yes... another sporting...

Introduction

13 months mot, £700 :)

sorry for crap pics, my phone is having a bad day lol :( :p (dont like sun)
Personally I really can't see your logic. You can't drive yet, and you're buying cars to sit there and get abused by your local yobs. When they could be doing what their meant to be doing and being driven by someone who needs a car. How many cars can you drive at the same time?(n) Unnecessary damage being caused here to perfectly good cars IMO.

some new pics :) now been washed, which revealed dodgy paint :( lol but its thank fully on the passenger door with the dodgy de-locking, so il have to get that re-done.

oh and the tinted windows now fitted.

can see in this pic how wonky the front end is... lol mainly cos the head light brackets are mostly snapped and the wings are not bolted in properly.

I like the colour (y)

And if Beau wants to have cars sitting outside doing nothing then that's his choice. It's supposedly a free country, and how many others of us have project cars sitting doing nothing? I've had a Punto 75 SX sitting on my drive since June of last year and it hasn't turned a wheel

Where do you find these cars Beau? And how many miles has this one done?

Overall it looks nice, though with a 'wonky' front end does that mean it's been in a front ender?

And the wheels don't suit it. Swap them for some proper Sporting alloys. Not keen on the tinted windows but then again I'm not a pimp :p

thanks :) i really like it, fab colour.

this car was on the loot website, its done 89k, so bit high but its bang on average for year.

it does look nice :) quite a few scratches round it though, but il get it sorted, well worth what i paid still.

well yes it does appear to have been crashed but i wouldnt say it was that bad of a crash, the head lights brackets are snapped which is the main reason as to why it looks so wonky, i didnt notice it until about 3 hours after id bought it though :( but so what :p its got 13 months mot, runs well, so its easily worth what i paid.

im going to be spraying the multi spokes from the orange punto white and fitting onto the green, i just need to sell the orange punto now, so i can get on with sorting it.

What was the orange punto before you bought it? A great example of a Punto Sporting, and in the time you had it hasn't the driver's side door been mashed, back window smashed etc? I don't have a problem with project cars and the like, but surely you would have learnt from the blue GT (the damage sustained to that from the local yobs). In my eyes, in just the orange Punto's case, you've added another owner to the logbook, done no miles in it, revved it a bit, and sold it on with extra damage. Friendly advice here dude, stick with one of them, one, spruce it up, and drive it round for your first few years.

Of course this is only my opinion and you can take it whatever way you want, but if you take a look at the facts here and your circumstance, I don't see the logic in keeping these cars, it seems a bit of a waste really.

I like the wheels on the green one BTW, I think they go quite well.
