did u paint the exhaust manifold or something?
and i think that K&N has just about had it[xx(]

cinquechicken, have you got the standard air box? it'll make it look rather different as all you'll see is plastic :)

The filter on the end of the pipe is oil breather (there should be one on the top of your engine too [?] ). Its on the end of the pipe so that it can be pushed to the bottom of the bay so that any crankcase fumes don't end up in the cabin!

cracker, yup i painted the exhaust manifold. Used very high temp normal paint on the bits i could reach and ive since done the bits that i missed using a spray paint version.

and yeah.. the K&N is knackered! I'm going to get some tubing from SFS, get brickfoots spare BMC cone and have a GSR looking kit on there :D

hand paint, i'm not happy with the finish tho. going to sand it with wet and dry then do it again.

no laquer on it yet, but ive used 'CD2 Engine cleaner' on the bay and that has a spray on laquer for coating the engine after cleaning so once im happy il use that on it
