Woah thats canny scary!!! Hope he's alright

Anyone else cynically thinking that with alloys and uprated suspension that might not have appened.

Gutting to see that happen to such a minty Punto

should visit the insurance write off yard in newburn marshalls I think its called...if you want 2 or 3 alloys a barely used carbon box, lexus rear lights and maybe some lowering springs then you have wealth of mangled choice...

He posted in punto yesterday so he's around mebbe keeping a low profile, i'd be interested to know what happened for him to roll like. Appears to have nailed summat with the front pre-roll..looking like a pole

he was going too fast round a hairpin, although fortunatly no sheep were hurt!

yea basically

it had just strted raining so road was much more slippery than an earlier visit to the same road earlier that day

couldnt brake as much coming up on the corner so i tried to scrubb of as much sped as posible almost locking them then let off before the corner and tried to make it round but slid off over a small drop that caused the car to roll over slowly landing on it's wheels again

this pick shows the road to give you all some idea of how i came off

i'm quite impressed with how well the shell was afterwards i cant help thinking what it would look like if i had a saxo or something like that

that's why i'm getting another punto

also because i can use allot of the parts off mine to make another one good

the next one i get will be made to look just as good or better it's how i intend to keep all my cars mint tip top condition with way more oil changes than they really need so watch this space for another minter threat

the front was indeed a concrete pole in the road that lso ripped a huge hole in the sump

so unfortunately after driving the car out of the field the next day with nooil in it don't sound so good but i'm gonna get a scrap sump and try it with oil in as it still starts and see if it still runs ok

also they make great off readers lol i couldn't believe what it was driving on

and thanks for the support from everyone i really appreciate it
