nahhhh centos are too small for me and after driving them for 30mins (go upto newcastle upon-tyne alot 145mile drive) my back is crippled hence why i have opted this time for a mk1 punto sporting lol and just going to turbo that lol

As blu would say......Holy thread revival batman!:p

Well......I got abit jelous of people poking holes in there rusty cinqs so i thought id join in and bingo...drivers side rear beam mount.
Arches seem sound which im happy about:D

Will have a better look in the next few weeks when i can hopefully roll it out of the shed on a fresh rear beam and rear arms.

Definatly not giving up to sell it for parts, although many would like me to for some of the goodies:p If the rear end is really bad beyond repair then ill just get funky with suspension design

Not made any visible progress on the car, but been machining a few little bits and bobs

Mr Monster, bits have been taken off and never replaced, took a hub off to make mounts for the brakes, strut off to make adjustable top mounts, rear arms off to get them coated ect
Ripped the skirts off so I can fit the wide arches, any body know the best way to remove the sikaflex from the car?

Ming, I'll be selling most of the bits I don't need soon so keep an eye on classifieds. Why didnt you buy the purple hose from classifieds?

Well the flywheel is very nearly finished, just need to drill a hole for the dowl on the crank. f/w and ring gear weighing in at 3.5kg:)

Fitted the bushes to the rear arms and the rear caliper plates, need to get some new nylocks for the arm bolts then that can all be fitted

Been a few years since i stripped the thing down, now ive just dropped an engine in and confused myself.....prity sure the 'plate thingy' went there? just lost on where the bolt goes under the stat, anyone got any pics that could help?
