Neil nice motor. Just a question, how much did it cost to remap? I know very little about it, but was thinking of getting my abarth stilo remapped. What sort of bhp gain can it give and where do you get it done? what sort of money? thanks

hi abarth 77, thanks for your comments. remap cost around £350 if i remember corectly, from angel tuning. they come to you so now worries with getting to them, they will even do it in your staff car park! Nigel is the man you need to speak to from there, great guy. The map has supposedly put the bhp up to around 155 from 115, although ive not had it on a rolling road so i cant be possitive. is it worth it?, well if you do alot of town traffic and rarely get to open her up, then to honest no. As the remap basically gives you more torque and bhp for a longer rev range,(pulls all the way up to 4.5k) it needs winding up to really feel the benifits. Im not saying it made no difference low down, but it is very noticable when you are putting your foot down at 70 or above, it pulls very nicely all the way to 130+. ive been told ;) it also makes the car seem smoother as you get no drop off in power as the power is smoother over the rev range.

However, this is all for the jtd and with yours being the abarth, it will have slightly different characteristics, best thing to do is have a look through the rest of the forum for remap posts (there are loads)

I hope this helps you.

cheers
